Porto Franco in Batumi earns a commendable 4 out of 5 stars in my review, offering a mixed yet satisfying dining experience. The Katchapuri, a quintessential Georgian delight, lived up to expectations, delivering a good rendition of this classic dish. The Chicken Livers, however, emerged as a star of the meal, showcasing a remarkable preparation that left a lasting impression. The starters selection provided a delightful array of options, contributing to the overall variety and quality of the dining experience. The restaurant's proficiency in English facilitated smooth communication, enhancing the comfort of international guests navigating the menu. While the staff exhibited niceness and helpfulness, the service suffered from a notable sluggishness. Despite the commendable qualities of the dishes, the extended wait times detracted from the overall enjoyment. A faster and more efficient service would undoubtedly elevate the dining experience. In conclusion, Porto Franco offers a culinary journey with highlights such as the Katchapuri and exceptional Chicken Livers. The diverse starters selection adds to the appeal, though addressing the pace of service would significantly enhance the overall satisfaction of patrons seeking a taste of Georgian cuisine in Batumi.

Having read the good reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant but were extremely disappointed. After waiting four our food for almost an hour we have received the wrong order without even the items we did order, despite the waiter clearly hearing and noting our correct order. When we brought this to the waiter's attention, he dismissed our complaint, insisting that it was what we had ordered. Essentially, he conveyed that we had to pay for the items brought to us, even though they weren't what we wanted or ordered. Reluctantly, we accepted the incorrect order to avoid further spoiling our evening. The waiter's demeanor suggested he knew it was his mistake but was unwilling to take responsibility for it. The disregard for customer experience, disrespect and dishonesty in handling the situation make it highly unlikely for us to return ever again, and I strongly advise against recommending this place to anyone.

This was my first meal in Batumi and it was great. Had two kachapuri and two chicken tabaka, which were delicious, plus drinks and all of that was around 30 euros, so really great value for money. If you want to try these two Georgian delicacies, I strongly recommend. Another Georgian speciality, cheese-stuffed mushrooms aren’t the best here so leave those for another restaurant. Also, it’s a bit of a struggle to communicate with the staff if you don’t know the language. A lot of the things on the menu weren’t available. There was also quite a few misunderstandings with the personnel.

We have ordered pork, fish and also egg plant, all dishes are delicious. Fried fish it was crispy. The price is reasonable, and we could not finish also. There are plenty of seating area, staff are polite too. Toilet is clean and many mirror around. :) The only recommendation is change the design of this menu, because the wording is really small, hard to read.

Likely the best place to have Adjarian khachapuri in Batumi. Service is very friendly, prices are just, food tastes amazing, and it is a nice touch to give the butter on the side for those who may not want to use it. Most importantly for me though is not their food but drink, the kompot to be specific. It is simply divine and a must try in my book.

Here, I lost my Titanic virginity - before, I thought that this size of Adjaruli was a legend. We were six people, and we didn't manage to finish it. A #darikomogzauri_tip: don't order anything else, once you want to enjoy Adjaruli on its full. It's a separate meal - preferably, breakfast.
