We have been here twice. The first time was perfect - the waiter was very attentive, free water, desserts, tea and coffee were brought fast. We were impressed by the place and decided to come again to try the main dishes.
As for the second time, this was a special event - my wife’s birthday. I booked the table in advance, asked for a good place and noted that there’d be a birthday of the guest.
When we came, the seat that was provided was just ordinary. When I asked to change it to a place near the window, waitresses told me that this table was ‘specially reserved for the guests’. As a result, nobody came there within the next 1,5 hours.
Then the waitress received the order. In 10 minutes she said that there is no sweet potato as a starter on that day. Moreover, they did not remember that there’s a birthday of a guest, so I asked them if they can congratulate my wife. They said ‘yes’ and they offer a free dessert that we can choose from.
Hopefully, they congratulated her with a birthday but included the dessert in the price as well as water that was free before.
Mortadella pizza was not tasty, nor were pasta with salmon (too salty) and risotto with prawns (average risotto but good prawns).
I think, we won’t come here again as we expected so much from the second time. I’m really upset that the service
Read moreMy wife and I have always loved this place. We’ve been coming here since the early days, back when they had those gold coloured napkin holders on the tables.
Sadly, our visit on Friday the 17th didn’t live up to our usual pretty high expectations.
The meals The salad and risotto with prawns were okay. The tartare, however, was disappointing. It was crumbly and oddly cooked—not the smooth, consistent texture you’d expect, but more like slightly steamed ground meat. On top of that, it was served with fries instead of bread or toasts, which felt like an bad choice — they just don't come along well.
The duck breast with black rice was a big letdown. The menu didn’t mention beets, but they were there. The itself duck was served in two tough, thick chunks that were hard to cut, making the plate slide around on the table. As someone who enjoys rare steaks, I found the taste okay, but the texture was far from tender, and someone else might think it was undercooked. I preferred how it used to be served before—on a long plate with greens.
The service Service was clumsy. Dirty dishes stayed on our small table for over 10 minutes after we’d finished, along with an empty water bottle.
The worst moment came when the waitress brought out our main dishes while we were still eating the salad. There wasn’t enough room on the table, but she tried to fit everything anyway without even asking us weather we're okay with this. This led to my wife’s fork falling to the floor (they replaced it quickly), and the table became so overcrowded that we were worried something would fall off. This has NEVER happened before—they used to serve dishes only after we finished the previous ones.
When paying the check, the waiter didn’t ask about the food or our overall experience.

Read moreI had extremely high expectations for today’s evening at this place, but they were not fully met.
Despite the fact that the segment of the establishment, as far as I understand, is above average, the food was surprisingly not very good - the pizza had burnt sides that were impossible to eat and the pasta with salmon had too much oil and salt. The bar menu is good tho, I enjoyed the restaurant’s special cocktail.
Unfortunately, even with a timely reservation several days in advance and a request for a table in a less crowded area of the restaurant, this request was accepted during the call, but was fully ignored today - the quote “these tables are especially for reservation,” although we clarified several times that there was a reservation + no one sat at these tables during our entire stay.
Upd. Considering the reply of the place written below, I have to say that I expressed my OWN experience and it doesn’t matter whether someone from the group has already expressed theirs. And you still haven’t explained the issue with reservation and requested table.
The owners don’t care at all about bad service or food they provide and choose to gaslight their clients. Funny to see a dozen of fake 5-star reviews that appeared right after ours just to keep up the rating. Good luck running your place with...
