8000 Vintages — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Firstly, this wine bar has 3 different locations. So, please keep in mind that not all reviews and reviewers are speaking about the same exact location. I am reviewing the "Tsintsadze sulkhanis k. 26, Tbilisi 0160" branch location.

No words can actually describe this venue....it's beyond surreal. Even for a small venue, you feel totally engrossed by the atmosphere whether you're sitting inside or outside the establishment. The array of charcuterie boards are good and almost all of them are excellent (went here 5 different times and tried them all) HIGHLY recommend the Tuscany board (by far the best one) and the Ham and Cheese board. They also have vegetarian charcuterie boards as well.

The wines are plentiful and you always get to sample every wine before you choose the one you like but you can also switch your choice at anytime, especially if you choose to go by the glass for the night. The staff are extremely friendly, warm, caring, attentive, and informative with wine choices and selections. It's definitely the perfect spot to end your last night in Tbilisi or the perfect spot just to unwind with family, friends, a date, etc.

Lastly, fair warning, this specific location is a super popular place so you MUST make a reservation otherwise seating is hard to come by if you just show up with no prior booking. You can either call or make a reservation on their website and they confirm via email and WhatsApp once it's approved. This Is a Place where u must go in Tbilisi. If you like to taste wines you really cant miss It. Georgia for those Who dont know It Is same as Italy and France One of the countries where wine Is part of the culture. Local varieties of grapes made this country famous in all esterno Europe and former Soviet Union for the wines! White, Red and rose ... Best are ... Red : Mukuzani, Saperavi, kindzmarauli (the First 2 dry ... Last semi sweet. ) I dont put in the list the Kvanchkara for the simple reason that Is very difficult to find the real and original One as the Place of production Is limited and so the "imitations" are very common ... White ones : Mtsvane, kisi , rkatsiteli, tsinandali ... Really all of them top wines ! Rose ... Recent addition to georgian culture of wines ... Still the Saperavi Rose Is well appreciated. Anyway, in 8000 vintages u can find everything you wanna try. You Just Ask and ... It Is magically there. Also the platters they offer to enjoy the wines are...

Excellent wine restaurant for wine gourmets. Here you will find rich choice of Georgian wines - red, rose and white, produced by traditional Georgian or European technology. Literally hundreds of different unforgettable flavors for any taste.

Most of the wines are from small wineries and you will definately not find them in any ordinary restaurant/shop.
