I came here twice, and the second time is the last time. I bought something and wanted to sit down. The woman told me, as i said I will go with a take away bag, I am a to-go customer (mit nehmen). Thus I am not allowed to sit down. I said then let me buy another bread again and for that I will eat inside(hier Essen) . She refused me in a harsh way without explaining and that makes me feel humiliated. As someone else in awaiting behind me in line, I stopped to ask further. I waited until there is no more customer in line and I went in again to ask for the reason. Another man explain es to me that in Germany, a shop record each transaction differently in system due to how they report to the Finanzamt. A shop pay 7% for a customer sitting in the shop. I thanks the person explaining to me, but I still feel upset about how the woman treated me. She could have accepted me as a new eat-in customer, when I offer to make another transaction which she can record as eat-in. But she decided on upsetting a customer very unfriendly. I decided to go and support other backers inside the Bahnhof from now on and will never buy in this...
Read moreThe food itself was ok, nothing really special really. But the service was miserable. The waitress was upset when I told her we would eat inside (there is a price difference due to tax). She could have asked us. Then after payment I had to find our food next to a broom!?!! We were with 3 persons and bought 3 different things but got only 2 plates? Good thing we will not be back anytime soon...ever!
The story goes on: we wanted to use the toilet and they told us where they were but did not mention they need to push a button for the door to be openened. So when I told them the door would not ppen they looked at me like a was an idiot and said to try harder. Later in my wife allmost kicked in the door trying to get it open. Still they did not mention they had to push a button first.
This place is to be avoided but anybody valuing any bit of service when purchasing...

During my visit some of this included yelling at customers who weren’t able to understand german instructions given to them in an aggressive way and also passive aggressively complaining about my traveling family to another customer (who seemed rather uncomfortable with this) that we did not greet her before she greeted us. The food was good, which is why it still deserves two stars, but in my accumulated experience, a bakery advertised to tourists needs to be kinder to those who don’t...
