MOSS in the quarter — Restaurant in Aachen

The girl in the headscarf is very nice, kind and helpful, and her English is good, but the rest of the staff is extremely rude and I think biased against non-German speakers.

We moved to Aachen one month ago from America and do not know much German. We came to Moss to get lunch and were told that they accept German debit cards. I have a German N26 debit card, which has worked everywhere we have been in Aachen, but would not work in their system. Upon trying to get some help, an older lady that works there was extremely rude and shouted at me several times that I had a credit card that is not German, which is incorrect. I use the card in ATMs to get cash, and it has worked everywhere that requires debit cards. However, since the machine would not take my card either way, my wife had to run home to get enough Euros to pay for our meal, as we ordered an amount more than the Euro we had due to them telling us debit cards would work.

Upon paying for the meal, we had many Euros in small change but more than enough to cover the meal. Another older lady at the register was again very rude, unhelpful, would not count the Euros, and another staff member had to come over to count our money to pay. The older lady told me several times that we did not have enough, very rudely, but upon counting the money she was mistaken. We had enough to cover the meal, as we had counted it before giving it to them. The older lady would not apologize, acknowledge she was wrong, and that we had the correct amount of money to pay. These two older staff members are extremely rude and unhelpful, made us very angry and I would recommend not coming here unless you speak German well...

Zur Bewertung von Fieser Möpp: Wollte der Inhaber des Lokals, das zuvor in diesen Räumlichkeiten war, sein Lokal aufgeben, ganz unabhängig von Moss. Sind die anderen drei Bäckereien im Viertel genauso Ketten mit immer gleichem Sortiment und Teiggeschmack. Welcher Teiggeschmack einem da eher zusagt, ist rein subjektiv und jedem selbst überlassen. War Moss schon vorher im Viertel vertreten, nur lag die wesentlich kleiner Filiale zuvor bestimmt 300m entfernt Richtung Neumarkt. Sind die Räumlichkeiten der neuen Filiale super schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und lädt nun wahrlich zum verweilen ein. Sowohl durch die verwinkelten Räume an sich, als auch das ausgewählte Mobiliar entsteht vielmehr das Gefühl eines urigen Cafés, als einer Bäckereifiliale! :)

Von mir sowohl fürs Ambiente, als auch Sortiment und Geschmack fünf...

Das erste Mal, dass ich Too Good To Go ausprobiere & dann so ein abschreckendes Erlebnis:

Unfreundliche Mitarbeiterinnen, die die Sachen teilweise einfach so ohne Handschuhe anfassen (absolut ekelhaft), und neben dem einen Baguette habe ich 'ne Tüte mit 10 Rosinenbrötchen bekommen, die schon total trocken waren. Das war sicher nichts vom gleichen Tag, sondern mindestens vom Vortag.

Ich bin mir auch darüber bewusst, dass man bei TG2G Überraschungstüten bekommt, aber die 10 Rosinenbrötchen kann man ja wohl bestimmt in mindestens 3 Tüten aufteilen und ein bisschen Variation mit reinbringen. Einfach nur furchtbar und vor allem auch schade, weil ich jetzt eher keine Lebensmittel mehr retten möchte - nur wegen diesem...
