Definitely a terrible experience. I had lunch here with a friend and found a cigarette end in my dish. The restaurant offered to waive the cost of our meals, but I was not satisfied with this solution and asked to speak with the owner to discuss compensation. I started feeling unwell and was concerned about the impact on my health.
When the owner arrived, they were extremely rude, even yelling at us while we were trying to communicate with the health department. They refused to take responsibility and claimed that no one was smoking in the kitchen. This behavior was unacceptable, and I’m left feeling both physically and emotionally upset. We did not mean to imply that you must pay us 1000 euros. We are simply not satisfied with the solution provided and would like to negotiate further. We paid the bill to express our dissatisfaction with how this issue was handled. However, we do not feel that your treatment was ‘respectful.’ Additionally, I do not consider requesting a health inspection as a threat.
We kindly request that you strengthen the supervision of your staff and improve the attitude towards customers. While you mentioned that no one smokes in the restaurant, we do not smoke either, and finding a cigarette end in our dish is quite...
Read moreThis was a new spot that my family hadn't tried yet. They love to eat at Thai places and found this one to try. It was hidden off the side road in a small town, and when we first went in, we were the only ones there. It was a Tuesday, but around 1pm more people came in. The restaurant has a pleasant, calm, and open atmosphere, not very many seats but enough for the size of the place. Staff was friendly (there was only 1 front of house person), and spoke a little bit of English. The food was really delicious. We all received a small appetizer before our meal. The meal size was large and we all took some home. I ordered the Pad Thai, because that is my favorite thing to get, and I was not disappointed! There are some chili flakes that come on the sides of the dishes, so be careful if you don't like spice because it's pretty hot. Prices are higher than some other Thai places we've been to, but the quality is worth it. I highly recommend this location and would go back to try...
Read moreThai is my favorite cuisine, so I HAD to find a restaurant while I visited Germany, especially since it is my birthday! Google recommended Oraya, and based on photos and other reviews, I was sold. The owner said it was a fairly new restaurant, but I couldn't tell (in a good way). The establishment was clean and aesthetically pleasing. There is both indoor and outdoor seating- we chose to sit indoors. The food was amazingly flavorful. We ordered 2 different curries and the drunken noodles. The curry tasted like home. We also ordered spring rolls and wanton- good as well. Oraya's alcoholic house drink was made with fresh ingredients that made it shine. They accept card payment. And on top of everything, the service was kind and warm. If I return to the area, I'll gladly...
