Restaurant Drei Königinnen — Restaurant in Augsburg

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten mit großen Schatten spendenden Kastanienbäumen. Ich gehe gerne hierher und das schon seit vielen Jahren. Inzwischen bekommt man wenn man den Biergarten betritt an der Theke einen Platz zugewiesen und kann ihn sich nicht mehr selbst aussuchen. Das geht aber schnell und unkompliziert. Getränke müssen an der Theke bestellt und abgeholt werden. Am Ende zahlt man aber Essen und Getränke zusammen bei der höflichen und schnellen Bedienung. Natürlich ist es auch hier so wie überall anderswo auch, dass die Portionen (diesmal hatte ich Backhähnchensalat) etwas kleiner zu werden scheinen und mit 17,90 € dafür ist er auch sehr gut vergütet. Positiv ist an diesem Gericht, dass es nicht, wie in so vielen anderen Restaurants, mit Eisbergsalat "gestreckt" wurde. Trotzdem, alles in allem, gehe ich immer wieder gerne hier her.

A beautiful beer garden with large shady chestnut trees. I enjoy going here and have for many years. Now when you enter the beer garden you are assigned a seat at the bar and can no longer choose it yourself. But it's quick and easy. Drinks must be ordered and picked up at the counter. In the end, you pay for the food and drinks together with the polite and quick service. Of course, like everywhere else, the portions seem to be a little smaller (this time I had fried chicken salad) and at €17.90 it is very well paid for. The positive thing about this dish is that it wasn't "stretched" with iceberg lettuce, like in so many other restaurants. Nevertheless, all in all, I always enjoy...

Great selection of German food at reasonable prices.

This little hidden pearl has a very home cooked feeling to it. The staff is very friendly, and they know the menu by heart - which means to me they have been there for a long time.

The meals are tasty, and perfectly sized (if anything on the large side). It's winter, so the biergarten on the back was obviously not running, but I can see this as a fantastic spot for summer evenings.

Overall a great experience. Located in the small back - alleys of the old town, the Drei Königinnen offers an authentic German restaurant atmosphere.
