Swadesh Indische Lebensmittel & Kiosk — Local services in Augsburg

I visited Swadesh Shop for the first time recently, hoping to support a local business offering Indian groceries. While they do have a decent variety of products, the overall experience was quite disappointing.

The store itself felt cramped and poorly ventilated, with a strong foul smell coming from the vegetable section — which made the visit uncomfortable. Later, I found that one of the items I purchased (a tea container) was damaged and had been taped over.

I shared this feedback politely in their WhatsApp group, hoping it would be taken constructively. Instead, the owner initially responded rudely, and though he softened his tone during a phone call, he asked me to delete my message. Not long after, I was removed from the group — just for sharing an honest concern as a customer.

Feedback should be welcomed, not silenced. Sadly, this experience left a poor impression, and I hope the store takes steps to improve both customer service and the in-store...
