CHECK INN Restaurant — Restaurant in Böblingen

I easily made a reservation online at the Check Inn Restaurant because my friend highly recommended this place and I was looking for a fabulous restaurant to dress up to enjoy a birthday dinner with a few of my girlfriends. The location is great, easy access to public transportation, and it is easy to find. The ambiance of the Check Inn Restaurant is sophisticated, unique, and posh. Everything was exceptional, it felt like we were enjoying a great night out in New York City or L.A. instead of Böblingen! The staff were great. They were all very friendly, kind, helpful, and patient with a group of 7 excited ladies.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The gin cocktails were excellent. The appetizers were delicious, and the Beef Tartare tasted so good. The wine recommendations were good. The main courses were all fabulous, and my favorite was the grilled octopus. The desserts were so good, especially the Matcha crème brûlée.

Us ladies had so much fun catching up, celebrating a special birthday, and enjoying mouth-watering foods and tasty beverages in the perfect ambiance at the Check Inn Restaurant. I highly recommend this fabulous sophisticated restaurant for a lovely night out. Since we moved overseas almost 4 years ago, we were excited to try the Check Inn Restaurant on our vacation back in Germany and it did not disappoint! I had the Poke Bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while my husband chose the Wiener Schnitzel, which was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and tender inside, with all the right accompaniments.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The service was absolutely wonderful – attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home.

We would definitely recommend Check Inn Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. A truly memorable...

Meine liebe Frau und mein Sohn haben dort am 27.01.24 einen wunderbaren Empfang zu meinen Ehren aus dem Anlass meines 70-sten Geburtstages organisiert. Alles war wunderbar außer einer kleinen Panne: zwischen anderen Sachen bestelt war ein medium in Lowtemperatur gebratener Roastbeef am Stück. Ich bin ein feinschmecker, weinliebhaber und auch ein Hobbykoch, somit ist meine Meinung gut fundiert... Meine Frau bat mich inständig "keinen Aufstand" zu machen... Die garstufe des Fleisches war s.gut getroffen, aber die Qualität dh. die Sorte des Fleisches war... Mit einem Wort die Person die für das Fleisch verantwortlich war (der Inhaber oder Koch?) dachte vielleicht, dass (ich spreche nur über mich) noch keinen Roasbeef gegesen habe? Der Zuschnitt simulierte zwar einen Roastbeef... Wo aber war das tipische Fettaroma des Roastbeefs? Ok, das Fett kann man nach dem Braten wegschneiden, was aber bleibt ist das typische Aroma! Wo war es? Lag es daran, dass es kein Roastbeef war? Die grobfaserigkeit und die Struktur des Fleisches wie auch der wahrgenommene "Härtegrad" (trotz des richtigen Gargrades) beim kauen waren gelindegesagt SEHR nicht zufriedenstellend. Nur der Atmosphere zu Liebe sagte ich NICHTS und lobte sogar und wir gaben der Bedienung ein sates Trinkgeld, denn sie konnte NICHTS dafür! Nächstes mal, wenn ich privat komme, werde ich dem Koch genauer "auf die Finger schauen" und mit Bestimmtheit werde ich so einen Fleischstück mit entsprechendem Vermerk zurück in die Küche gehen lassen. In aller Deutlichkeit sage ich nochmals: ich fühle mich "dummverkauft". Schade! Die Wine waren sehr gut. Serice am Tisch war sehr aufmerksam, höfflich und zuvorkommend - daher das Trinkgeld....
