Eiscafé Memory — Restaurant in Bad Schandau

I understand having to send people away when understaffed, it doesn’t have to happen in such a rude manner though.

Maybe working processes should be updated to work with fewer staff - we don’t understand why people cannot order and pickup at the front counter and then sit down in the outside area. Most tables outside were free but could not be used because ‚they cannot serve people outside‘. If you don’t have enough staff to serve outside, that’s fine, but people could get some ice cream to go and sit down at the open tables without extra effort for the staff. We were told ‚if you do it, everyone is going to do it‘ - sure, because that is how you get customers. It’s a shame the staff were so unfriendly, the menu (and the place itself)...

Auflauf could have been better. It was a little extra salty with more than usual cheese and the veggies had released water. Basically it's preparation could have been improved. Pizza was nice with thin crust. Soup was the star.

The service with smile was prompt with gentle politeness. Loved it.

Ambience is Great for this beautiful town Bad Schandau. Perfect place to crash at for a Beer.

Rating it 4 because it has potential to rise...

This is an ice cream shop. So it's really strange that the ice cream is not good. I had to chew my chocolate ice cream which is not good. There were huge pieces of frozen water aka ice crystals in it. My girlfriend had a vegan raspberry pie. She said it was soggy and tasted bland. I had a lasagna as main course which I can recommend. Service was not fast...
