The perception of the quality of the food here, seems to depend a lot on where you are from: I (German) actually quite liked the food. The sauces had a lot of vegetables in it and also the Naan was good. My friend from India however was not satisfied at all, saying that the food reminded him of what he would get when being on an Indian airplane. We were both a little bit irritated that the dishes came on a plate, as if not expecting people to share, when Indian food is usually so great for sharing. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Abirams Indian Restaurant and tried their Chole Bhature dish. The chole was simply amazing - rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The bhature was a bit thicker than what I am used to, but it tasted great nonetheless. The standout, however, was the Mango Lassi, which was nothing short of phenomenal. It was thick, creamy, and packed with the perfect amount of mango goodness. The service was prompt, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Abirams Indian Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine. Abirams is an institution among people living in the area. I have no idea if the food is authentically Indian but I can ensure it's authentically tasty. Unfortunately they recently increased their prices, that made the whole deal a little less convenient. For only 7,5€, the Chicken Biryani provides an extremely tasty, flavourful and nicely spiced portion full of tender chicken pieces that could well serve two people. The sauce coming with it is simply incredible. For the same price, also Chicken Vindalo is a nice tasty surprise.
