The quality of the food was good and it was a pleasant atmosphere. However the sheer horror of ordering the American breakfast and getting ONE, yes one, solitary pancake, and the whole plate rather small and covered with rocket salad and tomatoes. I love rocket salad but it doesn’t belong prominently featured on an American breakfast. It would have cost so little to just have a small stack of pancakes like we expected would come with an American breakfast costing 15 Euro. The maple syrup was served in such a small pot that it was like it was for a doll‘s house or Sylvanian Families! And then bemusingly, two bread rolls accompanying this single pancake. Quality of coffee was really good and the ingredients were good. But please rethink the American breakfast. Avocado bagel was really nice but guacamole spread very very thinly. So issue is...
Read moreWEEKENNNNND!! 🥳🎉 And what a hot start of the weekend this has been. The service was brief and very slow, the coffee (flat whites) tastes more like milk with a bit of coffee then the other way around and the shakshuka (which is a really time consuming dish to make and was formally apparently really good) simply tasted like some tomato sauce with eggs thrown in.
Besides all that, the outside seating is cute and lovely to sit at on a sunny day. The prices...
