alles GuT — Restaurant in Berlin

Had worst and embarrassing experience there. We are brown people. I took 3 of my guests there to play billiard and have some lemonade. Within first 2 minutes one guy suddenly insulted us and said bar is only for drinking why are you not drinking. I said this is not your matter we will drink when we like it. He said the owner is my friend and I will tell him that I will keep playing so you won’t have any option to play but only to drink. Then he went to the bar tender and the bar tender asked us if we are here to drink or play. I said we are here to play and will drink only non alcoholic drinks meanwhile. He then went to the owner who was sitting inside the other room. He came back and told that you have to leave because you cannot wait for the game. I told the owner that just because your friend didn’t like us you should not discriminate and it is a racial discrimination. He simply didn’t care and said this is our business policy and nothing about racism. Which obviously was not true because the other guy was standing and smiling at us because he won at the end.

Just went in with my wife for a quick drink to cool down after walking around charming Charlottenburg. The barman was very obliging and called for the owner who had excellent English to translate. Had a bit of a chat about where we came from and so on. All in all a very nice bar with a welcoming feel, nice decor and decent, affordable beer. Would highly recommend. P.s I'm not a local guide I was a tourist from Birmingham, England. KRO.

By far the most cathartic and important Berlin bar experience (and I did pub crawling in Berlin). If I'd ever move there, I wish Alles Gut to be my across-the-street Kneipe. It's not cold beers at good prices; it's not the clean toilets or a smoking room or the pub atmosphere.
