Anna Koschke — Restaurant in Berlin

I came across this lovely, charming and stylish bar purely by chance whilst exploring the back streets of Berlin. Really friendly staff and recieved a warm welcome. Excellent choice of drinks and you can smoke in there. Unlike other Rauchen bars I visited in Berlin, this was clean and airey and not over smokey inside. A mixed crowd of young and old. We arrived as a group of four shortly after it opened on a Saturday. We were expecting it to be a cliquey/exclusive bar for only locals. I could not have been more wrong. I speak some German and ordered drinks for the group but obviously gave away that I wasn't German. The barmen were very friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. They offered very helpful suggestions regarding the menu. We could not have felt more welcome....

Magnifica Esperienza Ci siamo stati io e i miei 4 amici per l'ultima serata del nostro Interrail, volendo assaggiare un po' di cucina tipica berlinese e non avendo molti soldi da spendere. Anna Koschke ci ha davvero sorpreso, cibo buonissimo e prezzi economici, proprio ciò che speravamo. Stra consigliati i panini col lardo e il formaggio ma anche le aringhe (davvero insuperabili) e i cetriolini. Il Menù del cibo è abbastanza limitato, come è giusto che sia essendo una birreria più che un ristorante ma le porzioni sono davvero abbondanti. Buonissima (e conveniente) a birra (a detta dei miei amici essendo io astemio). Simpatica la barista che ci ha anche servito. Peccato non aver mangiato le polpette, tipiche berlinesi chiamate Bulletten. Unica pecca, se proprio va trovata, il prezzo dell'acqua, un po' eccesivo rispetto alla deliziosa birra.
