Nice food, nice environment however really unfriendly service. The first time I went to Cafe Gri Gri I have really enjoyed it. Today I decided to visit them again. I was having an extremely bad day; my key was broke in the apartment's main door lock and I was waiting for locksmith for few hours and also trying to keep in touch with my landlord. I decided to go to Gri Gri because it is so close, I was hungry and I needed to charge my phone. Unfortunately they didn't have any plugs nearby the tables which I can understand hence it is an old building, and they told me I can charge it in the bar area with the condition of turning off my phone. I explained them my situation and that I was waiting for an important call from my landlord and again they replied that there is nothing they can do, they cannot have a ringing phone on their counter. I should also say that the place was completely empty and I was the only customer! After staring each other each other for multiple seconds I just said I will find another place and left. I find this attitude extremely rude and unfriendly, especially to a person who is in a peculiar situation! I do not plan to visit again, I am not willing to support this kind of...
Read moreGreat terrace but the woman running the place is awful. I met a friend there and she happened to sit herself down on a bank belonging to the table next to mine when she arrived. Straight away comes the owner "you can't occupy two tables, that's ridiculous". Place was more less completely empty.
I ordered soup and when I asked for a glass of water she replies "I don't gift people tap water". Friendly as your average prison guard. Soup was pretty bog standard though cheap and not much of it. At one point my friend took out her computer to show me something. Instantaneously the same woman: "can you put that away, this is not an office"... I know, it's just barely a restaurant.
Damn shame, gorgeous terrace, beautiful...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience. This was hands down the worst iced latte I’ve had in years—just a cup of foam with no actual coffee. The iced cappuccino was just as bad. When we very politely pointed it out, the waitress was unbelievably rude and arrogant, insisting “that’s how we make them” with zero interest in fixing it or even listening.
We also ordered a glass of wine, but we didn’t even touch it because we felt so uncomfortable and insulted by the staff’s attitude. Honestly, the service was appalling—condescending, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. We left everything behind and walked out.
Avoid this place if you expect even basic courtesy or anything resembling a...
