Pavillon am Ufer — Restaurant in Berlin

Very cute little Pavillion next to the canal where you can enjoy a coffee and a waffle, for example. Of course you can also enjoy a waffle by itself, or many waffles since they don't have a waffle limit as of 2024. You can also enjoy a coffee by itself. As a matter of fact, any item on the menu can be enjoyed by itself or in combination. When I visited I enjoyed a cappuccino with oatmilk by itself. Unfortunately it was raining a bit (drizzling) but this is beyond the Pavillion's power. I'm looking forward to enjoy anything from the menu this coming spring, by itself or in combination. I always wanted to check out this place with its nice outdoor sitting area in the green next to the Landwehrkanal. Now I did. We went there in a Friday afternoon. It was crowded with ppl from all over the world (aka Berliners), families with kids, too. Not easy to find a free chair, least table. It's self service. They offer long drinks, coffee, sandwiches and waffles. Be prepared for some waiting time until you get your drinks! Enjoy the place, the sun...

If lived in Berlin I think I'd be here on every sunny day of the year. The perfect, chill spot to hang out, look at some passer-by's and enjoy decent coffee.
