This is not only my favorite restaurant on the face of earth but objectively one of the best culinary institutions in Berlin. In the pictures you can see the vegan miso ramen, the vegan tantan ramen (my absolute favorite) and the karaage. I keep coming back to this place because not only are they consistent with the quality of the food and the mind blowing taste of the dishes but also because of the extraordinary service that no other restaurant in Berlin can match. I have been here with many friends over the years (some of them are very picky eaters) and every time we asked for a modification to the order or asked a question about the food they have been very kind and helpful. It is an incredibly dog friendly restaurant, they always bring a fresh bowl of water and cucumbers to snack on for my not-so-well-behaved dog and accommodate her needs. The music is as great as the food and I always leave with a huge smile on my face after interacting with the staff because they are the most welcoming and lovely hosts. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Biggest regret was not to come sooner. 2 years ago our Japanese friend brought us here to eat Karaage saying that it was the best Karaage in Berlin. We always wanted to come back, but we never got the opportunity. We’ve returned today and oh my god is this place good. We had a bowl of Shoyu ramen and a portion of Karaage. The Karaage still amazing, really crunchy and juicy. However, the ramen was the surprise. Nice umami without to heavy. It wasn’t too salty either and the noodles had a great bite to them. Cashu was very tender and juice and had a nice flavour to it. However, the only component I didn’t like is the eggs. I prefer my egg yolk more in the jammy side and less on the hard boiled. Overall, amazing spot.

Went there after work thanks to the recommendation of a friend. Very positive surprise as I haven't heard about the place before. Atmosphere is cozy and authentic. I entered the dining room behind the curtain and I felt like being in Japan. Service was perfect. I really loved sitting in front of the cooks, eating while watching them preparing the dishes with care and passion. Food was interesting and delicious, from starters to dessert. I took the menu, including tofu dish, vegetable dish, fried chicken (my favourite); rice balls good too; matcha dessert included in the menu (try it!)

The worst service i ever experienced in my life. Simply disgusted by the aggressivity of the owner, who threatened me and my friends who were guests there at dinner. This is a place to avoid totally if you want to have a good time.

My friends did the "mistake" to bring unfinished beers inside, after the waiter allowed us to. Near the end of our consumption the owner come to us visibly nervous and intimated my friends to gave him the 2 bottles, request that was accomplished by my friends without complains, than the owner snatched away the bottles from their hands and left.

After some minutes from the episode, about to finish our meal, the owner come back again very nervously with the receipt, Intimating us to pay while we were still finishing. At this moment, feeling the attitude towards us unjustified and excessive, i tried to speak with him clarifying that we were not happy about his aggressivity.

Feedback that he didn't consider, and started screaming to us, in front of other clients which were visibly disturbed by his behavior, and being more verbally aggressive, continuing stating that we shouldn't have brought the beer inside. Fact that we understood and were sorry about. While i was trying to maintain the calm asking him to please chill down cause the reaction was exaggerated and unprofessional (me and my friends behaved respectfully apart the accident), he started to "invite" me and another friend, to go "talk" outside, or in the back of the restaurant office, with the same attitude of someone who don't want to talk, but only fight. Telling things like "what do you want? Come with me and i will show you!"

At this point, shoked by the attitude, we placed the money on the table and left by saying him that this was not the way to treat clients and to maintain the calm. He continued to shout to us to never come back, continuing showing his aggressive manner and emotional instability.

For sure we will never come back, and invite everybody reading this to be safe from businesses which instead of making customers feel comfortable and respected, menace and agress them ruining a...
