Donuts are often sour and spoiled (as observed by me and my friends). It’s a pity as I always liked their donuts so I would overlook the one or two pieces that would be bad. However, in recent times I have been getting more and more sour ones until the last time I purchased a box and it was all inedible. I got in touch with costumer service before I decided to write this review but was told that since the donuts do not have preservatives in them that they should be eaten the same day to avoid them going bad. All well and good until I asked my friend who bought and ate the donuts on the same day and she said they were spoiled already, furthermore, they sell one day old donuts on too good to go so really and truly, if the donuts aren’t supposed to be eaten the next day why are they sold on TGTG? Let alone the fact that more often than not I would reach home and immediately dig in, only to find a few that are gone bad. I find it quite interesting how when i mentioned this to costumer service when I wrote the email over a week ago I was ignored. It is such a pity because these donuts are not cheap (comparing the price to other donut shops) and yet whenever I purchase from them it has become a gamble or whether or not I will be losing money and creating waste or if I’ll actually get decent donuts. If I wasn’t ignored when I got in touch with them I would have resolved this issue in private, but alas, I see no...
Read moreOk. So 2 stars perhaps was not fair enough. I was prompted to give less considering how highly rated your doughnuts were and against that praise the greater was my disappointment. 3 stars then. They are not bad, but to me they are certainly not good nor great. I found them dry and a bit tough. The icing was also not exciting. I bought them 3 times from your shop in Potsdamer Platz and I couldn't find any exciting options (but then, its a personal preference). The dough itself is not as good as of freshly homemade doughnuts so it would be nice if you compensated with something like rose petal or plum filling (I don't know if you offer those elsewhere, but again in Potsdamer str. the choice was rather limited). And then, perhaps that's as far as vegan doughnuts can go, so the problem is not with them being bad, but rather them being vegan. At any rate, i can't share the...
Read moreVegan donuts inside Berlin's luxury department store - that already means a lot! The donuts from Brammibal's are now also available inside the KaDeWe, Berlin's luxury department store and the second largest department store in Europe. Absolutely amazing without anyone minding/noticing that they are vegan!
This kiosk is one of the few food options for vegans inside the department store. It is located in the gourmet food section on the 6th floor of the building.
Unfortunately, drinks and seating are not available at this branch of Brammibal's. But you can purchase donuts for to go and take them to one of the cafes on the same floor. With permission from staff, we got a seat inside Einstein Kaffee and had our donuts there along with strong coffee and a view...
