BULL Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

Visited twice on a Friday and Saturday night. Friday 15th March after about 11pm, the two bar men where very friendly, chatty and attentive providing us with some tips on where to go and what to see. Strangely enough the following night, Saturday 16th March, it was two different barmen who where the polar opposite, indifferent, moody and not overly interested in serving! Not sure why such a contrast in staff as it was just as busy and hectic both nights!

The venue is what I would expect of a crusing type bar, dark, atmospheric and nice and busy, even at 7am in the morning when we left it was still packed!

Cloakroom on entry for 1.50€, takes the worry away from leaving your items unattended. Bar area with seating, two gaming machines, TVs showing x-movies and a well stocked and reasonably priced bar.

Next room is a semi dark seating and chilling area. The next room is the main crusing area, nice and dark with plenty of seating areas, a couple of slings and other areas to have fun. The WC is in this area.

Lots of fun, a variety of ages, ethnicities, nationalities & body types. Would definitely pay another visit...

I was in Bull tonight where had like 3 - 4 beers. At some point I was passed up by some guy, (staff) accusing me of not buying any drinks. I tried to explain to him that I already bought plenty (I drink a lot) but he did point out to me that it was time for a new one. I went to the bar and ordered a beer, I got it and asked for a receipt (the bar only accepts cash, so that I could document that I had actually bought something there). The staff refused to give me a receipt, and I was kicked out. Pretty big fight followed, and police let me go after they heard my story. I do not recommend this Bull *hit place to anyone. Comment 22.02.2022 -the bar now responded that my description of the incident is not correct. Oh yes, it absolutely is correct, they 1. Accused me of not buying anything, which was a lie, and 2. when I again went to buy something, refused to give me a receipt so that I could prove I did buy something....

It was the place that I went the most times in Berlin... but it didn't convince me. I explain: since it's open all day, it's never clean... it lacks cleanliness (although it's not terrible either). It is a small bar with dark rooms in the back, similar to any cruising bar, up to there everything is more or less fine, normal... the main problem I saw... (and that the club should make an effort to control)... is the clientele... people are very... very... very drugged... I'm tolerant of the subject, I'll even do one thing sometimes... but this level is too strong and it's not pretty anymore, You don't feel in a pleasant or safe place, it lowers the category a lot. despite my somewhat negative comments, the club would be the second best option for crusing issues... after the boiler sauna (the only sauna in berlin).
