I recently had an unfortunate experience at Romeo and Romeo café in Berlin that I feel compelled to share with fellow tourists and visitors. It is crucial to exercise caution when visiting this establishment, as I believe there may be some questionable practices happening behind the counter.

During my visit, I encountered an incident that left me feeling taken advantage of. I was charged extra for an item that I did not request, and when I asked for a receipt, I was given one that stated a completely different order. This immediately struck me as odd and raised concerns about the integrity of the café.

To provide evidence of my experience, I am sharing a picture of the receipt, clearly showing the incorrect order and the additional charges. [Insert picture of the receipt]

What added to my disappointment was the price discrepancy. In Berlin, a simple black coffee typically costs around 2 euros or slightly more. However, I was charged more for a coffee with cream, despite specifically ordering a black coffee. This inconsistency in pricing left me feeling deceived and cheated.

To further illustrate the situation, I am also sharing a picture of the coffee I received, which clearly shows a black coffee without any cream. [Insert picture of the coffee]

To make matters worse, the receipt included taxes that seemed to be calculated in a manner inconsistent with the usual tax practices in Berlin. This further fueled my suspicion that something was amiss. It is important for visitors to be aware of such discrepancies and to question any unusual charges or tax calculations.

I write this review as a cautionary tale to fellow tourists and visitors. It is essential to exercise vigilance when patronizing Romeo and Romeo café. I urge you to double-check your orders and receipts to ensure accuracy and transparency. While I cannot definitively claim that the café is intentionally trying to scam visitors, my experience raises concerns that should not be taken lightly.

In conclusion, my visit to Romeo and Romeo café in Berlin left me feeling disappointed and concerned about their business practices. I encourage you to consider alternative cafés in the area that offer fair prices, transparent transactions, and a more enjoyable experience. Stay vigilant and be aware of your rights...

Situated on a corner where Motzstraße and Eisenacher Str meet, Romeo and Romeo is extremely ideal for people watching in the historic gay neighborhood of Schöneberg. The clientele is a mix of daddies, students, travelers, rent boys and locals. The coffee shop has a reputation for having an attractive staff. They offer magazines and newspapers to read, WiFi (no passcode needed), free water, free Anericano refills and an amazing array of cakes and pastries at great prices. The inside has large tables great for groups and ample workspace. Outside is peppered with colorful bistros suitable for two. Disco isn't typical coffee bar music. Be sure to bring your headphones if you have problems concentrating and working to disco. The staff was extremely warm and hospitable offering to take away plates and glasses despite it being a self-service establishment. If no one ask, make sure to clean up after yourself. There are at least 20 coffee shops within 2-4 blocks of where I live yet I always chose to ride my bike to Romeo and Romeo 19 mins away because I know it's ALWAYS a...

We came there in the morning on 8th of March 2022, my kid and I stayed outside and my wife came in to get us some food. We are from Ukraine, so my wife does not speak German, only Spain and English. After queuing up, the manager asked to show the Covid certificate, she did so, but she had 2 dozen not 3, as in Ukraine 3third dose can be taken 3 month after second one only.. So the manager said - go away. Then my wife showed him positive test which she had done on 22.02.22, which means she is fine to seat inside (she wanted to seat outside, we were waiting for her there) But the manager was quite rude and start explaining to my wife in front of all the other visitors in cafe - "if you come to Berlin, to Germany, to our country" you must go and do proper test..." he did not even check properly the one my wife tried to show him... In the end - he refused to sell anything and let her out, of course she run out in tears.... Thank you very much dear manager of the lovely caffe Rome and Romeo for being such a nice, hospitality and...

Really cozy LGBT+ friendly cafe, nice and relaxed with friendly staff, decent enough coffee and good cakes on offer including vegan cakes as well (vegan rainbow cake pictured below). Lots of information about the night life in the area and other activities dotted about the cafe, leaflets, magazines, wall board etc. All in all a really nice place, central to the area and makes for a good stopping point or a place to arrange to meet up with friends. Note that the cafe has a tidy up after yourself policy, so remember to take your cups and plates to the stand next to the counter as you are leaving.

Café Romeo und romeo is located in the heart of the famous gay district in Berlin. It is a great place to get to know more about the local LGBTQ+ community. There are flyers and magazines right at the entrance. Or just simply start a conversation with the people. The café has a great vibe, and the coffee is good. It is great to have a date, chill with friends, or just people watching.
