Cô Hà — Restaurant in Berlin

This restaurant has lied to me for years. The waitress has insisted that the Mayo on the tofu burger with sweet potatoes is vegan. My gut instinct always felt no it's not. So I insisted today that she show me what is in it. After a while of her rolling her eyes at me, she proceeded to take out a carton of very cheap industrialised cow cream from the fridge and admitted that they add to a bio Mayo that they buy but then kept insisting that it is vegan. I said this is cream that comes from a cow and the Mayo you add it to has eggs. It is very important that you stop calling it vegan. She rolled her eyes and said that it's only a little bit of cream. I explained that my son has a milk allergy. She said but you've been eating here years and I said yes but he never ate that Mayo thankfully and tonight he was going to. She shrugged me off and another customer told me to stop going on about it as she wanted to order. So disappointing. I thought it was illegal to lie about what is in the food. Co Ha have just...

Such a basic food. I ordered delivery, and sadly delivered food doesn't look as nice as on photos here. I got my nuddles with just a little bit of super thin vegetable 'stripes', like not satisfying at all, comparable with a basic cheap Asian box that I can get anywhere for 2,50. I didn't even get soya sauce as usually with Asian food (I mean I can order it extra ofc but there was no such option suggested with this dish so I didn't think about it; if you make such a tasteless food pls add at least a portion of soya sauce to it) and I was too hungover to get up from my bed go to the kitchen and get it (usually I always get some sauce with my order and I'm not used to be bothered by this). So I ate it simply how it arrived. My dish didn't have any particular taste, I felt like I just ate white basic nuddles only. I'm so hungry still....

We ate the pho bo and the bao bun burger (beef) and both really enjoyed the food. The staff is friendly, the restaurant itself is small and intimate. The pho bo was a big portion for a good price and tasted amazing. The burger was served with sweet potato fries and a sriracha-mayonaise.
