The food was amazing, complex and cooked to perfection. I swear they do magic on the prawns.

The service and the waiters in particular were amazing. When I accidentally dropped my phone through the sidewalk drain outside, the waiter Ti instantly came to our aid, setting time aside to help us through the incredibly difficult ordeal of getting the phone out. He provided us with material, including tape and disposable chopsticks, helping us come up with increasingly creative methods to fish the phone out of the dark dusty prison. His magnum opus, a makeshift hammock made out of tape, chopsticks and forks, ended up working like a charm, and it is entirely thanks to his great help that this phone, which I used to write this review, was not lost forever. Ti is a national hero, and you should honour his great service to his fellow man by going here for your next night...

I recently visited Cho Dong and had a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional decor that set a relaxed tone. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.

As for the food, it was fantastic! I started with fresh spring rolls, which were light, crisp, and packed with flavor. For the main course, I had a bowl of pho — the broth was rich and aromatic, with tender slices of beef and perfectly cooked noodles. Every bite felt comforting and authentic.

Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, it was a memorable meal, and I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

Essen super - Service mies

Wir haben an einem sonnigen Samstag Nachmittag dort gegessen. Der Laden war gar nicht voll und machte einenneinladenden Eindruck. Wir saßen im Aussenbereich, was das Personal gar nicht mitbekommen hat (wenn man aussen Platz nimmt, sollte man das Personal darauf hinweisen, dass man da ist, denn von alleine kommen sie leider nicht auf die Idee mal nach zu sehen). Nachdem meine Begleitung bescheid gegeben haben, dass wir draussen sitzen, kamen auch schon die Karten. Große Auswahl an Suppen und Reisgerichten. Auch Vorspeisen und Salate stehen reichlich zur Auswahl. Vegetarier finde hier auch eine ordentliche Auswahl. Nur als Veganer würde ich nicht hier her kommen, da in den meisten Soßen offenbar Sahne enthalten ist. Geschnacklich konnte man sich absolut nicht beklagen. Meine Ente war super kross, das hatte ich bisher selten. Das Gemüse noch schön knackig, der Reis nicht klebrig. Die Soße war gut gewürzt und reichlich vorhanden. Frischer Salat dabei - alles gut. Die Portionen sind sehr groß (sieht auf den Bildern nicht danach aus, aber es ist wirklich schwierig alles auf zu essen, da es üppige Portionen sind). Die von uns bestellte Vorspeise wurde leider vergessen. Nachdem man uns das Essen servierte, schaute man dann leider auch nicht mal mehr nach uns. So hattem wir leider nicht die Möglichkeit noch ein Getränk zu ordern oder um die Rechnung zu bitten. Letztlich sind wir aufgestanden, schnappten uns das Geschirr und brachten es schön brav nach drinnen um dann direkt am Tresen zu zahlen. Das Essen hätte 5 Sterne verdient, der Service kaum mehr als 2....

Die Preise sind fair und gerechtfertigt. Meine knusprige Ente mit Gemüse und Reis lag bei 8,50€. Große Fanta 3,10€. Da kann man nicht drüber klagen.

Die Lage und das Ambiente sind auch sehr hübsch....
