I'm normally not used to write reviews but this time I really felt like promoting this unique place! I was walking from Ostkreuz when I passed by this tiny place and noticed they were selling supplĂŹs. SupplĂŹs!! SupplĂŹ is a tipical street food from my hometown (Rome) and I never had the occasion to eat them here in Berlin. When I entered the place I was greeted by some lovely characters who were speaking roman. They offered me a coffee while I was waiting for my supplĂŹ and I immediately felt home. The place, although it sells real Roman food, feels like Berlin. The esthetic is minimalistic but not cold, you will find candles to warm up. I wouldn't be writing all this if it wasn't for THE food. After I had my first SupplĂŹ (classico) witch was amazing, I also had to try the cacio & pepe witch is even better!! I passed by the day after and went for the pizzas. They are next level. In Berlin it's easy to find a good pizza. Only problem: it's always the neapolitan style! These guys will serve you the roman way. A light, crunchy and easy to digest pizza topped with fresh quality ingredients. Finally the taste of Rome arrived to Berlin. What else can I say? Since I went the first time I've been passing by every 2 days. I got to know these amazing three guys. Sanpietrino is normally visited by friendly people who enjoy the good food while good music is playing in the background. A 10/10 experience....
Read moreWhat can I say? Iâve been eating here since it was just a food truck and it just KEEPS ON GETTING BETTER. The restaurant is lovely, and the three owners Federico, Giovanni, and Andrea, are always improving the menu, ambiance, and service. Keep an eye out for their daily pizzas which get updated regularly, recently their âMizzicaâ with confit tomatoes, anchovies, and ricotta cream, blew me away. Sanpietrino? More like crunchy-creamy bro! Put it in my mouth! Pause. Also, if the pretty waiter with the British accent is...
Read moreA great spot for lunch. Got there just after it opened at lunchtime, got the suppli classico and the pinsa amatriciana and carbonara, everything was excellent and came out quickly, piping hot.
Everything from the crust to the toppings was perfectly prepared and tasty.
My greatest worry, as is the case with many dining spots in Berlin claiming authenticity, was that it'd be a cheap imitation of what they claimed to serve, but thankfully my worries were unfounded. It tasted just like Rome, and we'll...
