We had pretty good evening at the place, until we had to pay over 50 euros for 4 beers (part of the bill was payed before), but bartenders charged us huge amount of money for 4 beers at the end. Realized it after actual paying, so wasn’t so direct experience. I guess they just do it to the tipsy people, to get more money. Don’t support, will never come back again!!! *Little upd, after coming back and complaining we got back the difference, but we were still tried to get scammed. I am not sure if it was really meant to be that way, or bartenders are just high and don’t care much about amounts people are paying. But we had to tell all amounts and calculate it for them, very ridiculous… There are so many nice locations at P-berg, where they don't charge you extra money when they see you tipsy. And sadly I see by the comment section that it's not just mistake, but regular mechanism, which workers of that bar use. If you still decide to go, please, pay right after every drink and look at the every transaction you being paid (maybe wright down everything you order and price of it, so you don’t pay x3 of what...
Read moreService was disappointing considering the lovely first impression I had back in 2019. My first visit was lovely, the place was beautiful, staff were friendly and professional and the brutalist cocktail I ordered was on point. However my second experience sadly didn't match up with the first one and I really didn't appreciate the elitist treatment. The lady who served us just casually forget to say thank you and gave me the silent treatment when I handed her the cash just coz I didn't tip her but thank the person she served after me multiple times just coz he could afford to tip.It was pretty unsettling how much the quality of customer service was dependent on your...
Read moreGreat and particular cocktails, very well done and the atmosphere is perfect for a drink, quite dark but cool. It’s a shame that we were sitting in front of the bar so we definitely saw a customer paying with card (with a device similar to SumUp), but as soon as we had to pay we have been told that it was cash only.. when the barman saw our doubtful glance, checked on SumUp and said “Oh ok, card is ok”. So they (and the rest of Berlin indeed) charge the tourists only by cash, but it is not nice at all.
PS: if you had problem with internet connection I would understand, but isn’t it honest to check connection before saying...
