Overall, had a nice experience. Food was good enough and I really enjoyed the wines. Why 3 stars only then? First of all, not all the items on the 4 courses menu had the same good quality: - the beef tartare was fantastic - the genovese not so much: everything had too strong flavor, the sauce was too sweet and the overall balance and combination of different flavors was a bit off - the fish was good and I liked the combination with the small black lentils - carrot cake and the other pre and post dessert were good. I thought a carrot cake would be kinda boring but their interpretation with a mascarpone sauce was really good. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot to serve us the sweet wine that was supposed to go with it and only served it to us at the very end when I reminded him. Overall, not bad at all but considering the prices (~115€ for the 4 courses menu with wine pairing) I would have expected more consistent quality and taste across all the items in the tasting menu and that the dessert wine would come at the right time with the dessert.

The restaurant is in a lovely, quiet area, with plenty of outdoor seating. It's an ideal location for dining in pleasant weather. I visited as part of a large group in early September, and it was still nice enough to eat outside. As we were a large group we had a small, set menu. I would have preferred more choice, as veal was a primary meat in at least three out of eight dishes. But for dessert, they did offer more options beyond the one thing that was listed on the menu. I ordered the cacio e pepe main, a simple classic that relies on freshness and precession. Unfortunately, the dish didn't arrive hot and it was a little clumpy. The cheese sauce should have been smoother, the flavour was heavy on the pepper side and it needed a sprinkle of salt. However, with all of that said I enjoyed the dining experience overall. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was decent, just nothing special.
