Good food (except they use mayonnaise for some rice dishes without announcing it and sime onigirizu are too salty). Pastries are really tasty BUT frequently sold out. Been there all too often, different days, different hours and NOTHING LEFT to eat for tea. Many other customers complaint about the same thing. Staff told me, baking would happen only on special days of the week! What kind of bakery is that? PLEASE announce baking days on your website! Booking food in advance does not work either. Sold out despite previous reservation. It is not fun to travel there in vaine. Prices are too high. Staff is usually friendly/very friendly and shop is agreeable and tranquile. If they managed to get organised this would be a 4-star recommendation. Unfortunately good pastry alone does not make a good bakery, especially not if it is absent most...

FOOD & DRINKS I wanted some Melon Pan for breakfast but they have not sold them the day of my visit. Heartbroken, I got myself some Japanese fried chicken, some peanut cookies and tea instead. They prepared some hot and fresh karaage for me. The fried chicken turned out to be a bit greasy but was very juicy and crispy. Tea was nice and the peanut cookies were alright.

SERVICE The Japanese staff was nice, cool and friendly.

ATMOSPHERE The café looks very inviting with all the green plants decorating the entrance. When you step in you are presented with a young modern café that has a hidden corner with a tatami mat. Absolutely lovely.

RATING Unfortunately they had none of the items they promoted on their Instagram that I really wanted to try but I really like this place. I could spend hours here and just...

During this pandemic, selling only few breads. I went there at 11am to buy Japanese croquettes, Matcha Meron and Meron bread, however there were only few breads available. No croquettes. I was not allowed to choose the breads individually as they were selling a pan set for 6.50 Euro with 3 different breads - An-Pan, Matcha Meron, and Meron Pan). So I had to take An-Pan as well to take other two that I wanted. The breads seem small ~9.5cm. In addition, the breads and cheesecakes seem to be from yesterday as the cheesecakes were missing some pieces? (I arrived there when they open) The environment was a bit different from the picture, but I assume it's because of the pandemic. Maybe I had too much expectation with this bakery only by looking at the pictures. It didn't reach my...

Not sure if we were lucky, but the cafe wasn’t too busy, so the whole vibe was quite chill. Guys behind the counter were super friendly and very patient. We had the Yuzu Cheesecake and the Cream Pan with cappuccino and Matcha Latte. Cream Pan was great. Not dry, without too much cream also not too sweet, which is great. Yuzu cheese cake was slightly disappointing, but I have to give it a pass here. Access to Yuzu in Berlin is difficult, most of the time it’s processed stuff, however, the cake didn’t have that Yuzu flavour you’d expect from it. Cappuccino was good. Matcha latte tasted a bit watery. Not enough matcha. Would have preferred a smaller bowl with less milk, while keeping the same amount of matcha. Overall, awesome shop. Need to try the one in Mitte again.

I’m sorry to write this but the things I ordered and the staff‘s service, it was all disappointing. It‘s hard to believe they sell Onigirazu for 9 euros with this quality. I’m a Japanese and perhaps i‘ve been to other Japanese cafes and restaurants in Berlin, but never had an onigiri so disappointing. Not to mention it’s sad looks, what‘s worse was that the rice was soggy. Texture was terrible and I’m sad that the unfriendly staff decided to serve this soggy rice despite it’s soggy looks and texture because I saw him make this onigirazu after taking my order. I didn’t like the Houjicha latte either because it came with a big spoonful of cinnamon on top of it and it completely vanished the aroma of houjicha tea.
