It's friday, so it’s time to talk wine😊 My list of places for good time in Berlin with friends and wine has replenished with one more pearl! The @facciola wine bar in Kreuzberg is a perfect place to experience Italian wine and delicacies! Aurora (the owner) believes that with wine and good food you can tell your story. This is not surprising, because she was born in Piemonte and cuvée of Italian and Venezuelan blood (or wine 😄) flows in her veins.
The story with facciola begins as soon as you cross the threshold of the bar! Each guest receives a welcome glass of wine, water and an appetizer from the Aurora. Appetizer is vegan and gluten free (it's such a smart decision because you never know what kind of guest you might have) The menu includes variety of wines, cheeses and other specialties from Italy. There is also a lunch menu - panini/gnocchi with a glass of wine, salad and espresso for 8-9 €. In the evening, you can try a plate of antipasti (from 11 €), pasta (for example, my favorite Norma 8 €), veggie lasagna (10.5 €), or a dish of the day (I was lucky and I tried gnocchi with tomatoes and pepper) Wine can be ordered at 100 ml (from 3 €)
The perks of being a blogger - Aurora made a special vegetarian plate for me so I could try a little bit of everything! Brussels sprouts, gnocchi, cheese were delicious❤❤❤

Aurora, the owner, met us with unprecedented kindness and hospitality, and treats all her guests as friends. Expect to feel completely at home from the minute you arrive. Their food is absolutely delicious yet unassuming, and wine selection is superb.
We ate here our first night in Berlin, and chose to go back for a pre-dinner glass of wine our second night. One glass of wine turned into many more and hours at the bar engaged in conversation with Aurora and her team. You can’t help but feel like you’ve entered your best friend’s home in Italy when you’re here — it instantly feels warm, familiar and comfortable.
Highly, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Berlin.

Read moreMiss you already! It’s been my first night here and one to remember! The freshest burrata and tagliere of the most delicious cold cuts. Thin-sliced mortadella and porchetta took the crown, among the many other melt-in-your-mouth delicacies. The same experience with the lasagna as well. The meat had been slow cooked to ensure the best texture along the overall creamy texture and a signature twist, sprinkles of parmesan cheese that gave the dish a tasty and playful spin. But this has not been only a night out eating. It’s been an experience that brought me back to my teenage roots. Pop Italian tunes blended in with a spontaneous soundtrack that understood their crowd brought everyone in the room together. During the time I spent there I did not care what was outside, there was only us, there in the moment and it was a hell of a good one to hopefully soon repeat!...
