This is a punk bar, period. The staff is generally friendly, the cocktails are terrible, and the prices vary depending on the bartender's mood, but they're always supportive. There's a certain anarchy; they're not there for the money, but for the sense of community. Over the years, I've seen them support various causes and even feed people without money.
