Gully Burger | The Hoxton — Restaurant in Berlin

I was craving a burger and at a nearby hotel having worked through lunch when I saw the reviews on Gully Burger. I wasn’t sure but it was only four minutes walk so I thought why not.

Thank goodness for proximity because the maharaja burger with Indian spices in it was amazing. About as life changing as the first time I had curry ketchup. The perfect marriage of everything I wanted in a burger with the surprise of perfectly balanced spices I hadn’t known I was missing. The fries were just fine in comparison but honestly the burger was so good it would be hard for anything else to stand up to it.

My only regret? Not finding Gully...

One of my favorite burger experiences in Berlin. Loved how each of the three burgers—the mushroom, chicken, and beef—offered something completely different, each satisfying a different craving. The concept is super original, blending Indian flavors into classic burgers in a way that really works. The fries are also a standout: perfectly spiced and paired with unique Indian-inspired dips and chutneys you won’t find anywhere else. At first I thought I arrived at the wrong place. Nicely decorated hotel lobby woth quiet people on their laptops. Asked if this was the burger place I was looking for and surprisingly it was!
