Hoffels - Waffeln & Café — Restaurant in Berlin

Most creative dishes I've seen in a long time. It's all waffles, but sth for absolutely everyone, 8 different waffle doughs(!) with gluten free and vegan options. The savoury waffles are an interesting concept in itself, but the flavour combinations are something I'd otherwise expect to come by only in fancy restaurants with much higher price tags. Vegan gluten-free waffle was divine!! Finding a good vegan waffle is hard, but this one is fluffy and hearty and full flavour, and the toppings amazing. It's all healthy nutritious ingredients as well. Had the best Dirty Chai here and learned they even make the Chai syrup themselves, so not from bought powders like in most places. Place is super comfy, dog and laptop friendly. I found my little oasis in Prenzlberg that's perfect for day-time dates or just treating yourself to exquisite, interesting food or homemade beverages. Loved how they made me actually feel welcome with my dog - who loved the lentil...

Really nice place with super nice staff and great food with many different options for waffles. The staff are one of the best I’ve ever had and they’re really nice to you. I was disappointed that there weren’t more customers here, they really deserve better. It’s got great waffles and nice staff. What more could you ask for! They’ve also got a really nice place outside with tables etc where you can eat outside. Really nice atmosphere 10/10! I really hope the owners can make ends meet, I hope they can keep the restaurant alive, cause this restaurant is so magical. All the love to the owners...

Wow. So unexpected. This place is the coziest thing in Berlin. I was there on a rainy day and sat in the widow and it was quite magical. Literally. And the waffel 🧇 was super soft and chewy and just perfect with an amazing topping of bean 🫘 cream, roasted coliflower and capers. Super delicious. Absolutely lovely service and just wonderful vibe.
