This is THE place to go for breakfast and brunch if you're in the area (and if you want vegan options). I love it so much and I always suggest this place if I want to meet friends in the area. I usually go here for breakfast or brunch and I ALWAYS get the "Sonnentau" vegan breakfast option for 1 and something on the side like a pancake/crêpe or a cake from their daily assortment. The breakfast for 1 plate is enough for 2 peopl in my opinion, especially of you get another snack on the side. The plate is filled with lots of vegan spreads, butter, fresh veggies and fruits and a variety of bread (slices and buns). I absolutely love it and I was never able to finish one plate hahaa 😂 It's sooo much food for the price. I also get a hot chocolate with oat mill every time I go there, because it's super smooth and creamy and delicious 🤤 Although the price tag is a bit higher (but still normal for the area) you get a lot for your money. Everything is freshly prepared and lush, lots of vegan options and ever changing daily-options. The staff is super friendly, but because the place is rather big I had instances where the water or waitress "forgot" about my table and I had to wait to get served. I would recommend reserving a table in advance because at certain days it's absolutely booked to the brim! It's one of my favourite places in Prenzlauer Berg ❤️

Café "Anna Blume" in the cozy Kollwitzkiez is always a great choice for a magical start - with friends and breakfast - to the day. Anna Blume is a popular café in Prenzlauer Berg, known for its fresh food, homemade cakes, and fragrant coffee. The lovely interior and rich breakfast offer are also reasons why it's a favorite spot. The Anna Blumes Frühstücksetagere for two is legendary and includes feta, avocado cream, and more. Cake fans will find plenty to love in the large showcase. During summer, the sun terrace is a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal. In the evening, Anna Blume turns into a restaurant with a changing menu. We enjoyed our visit and found Kornblume breakfast selection delicious and varied. The freshly prepared orange juice was really good. The service was young, dynamic, and pleasant, and the ambience was great. The price-performance ratio was good, and the café integrated well into the neighborhood. However, service was occasionally hard to reach. Would recommend reserving from 11-12 to avoid a limited choice of seats. Overall, we felt comfortable and welcome at Anna Blume.

The place is busy on weekends, so one is not always lucky to find a table outside when weather is good. A nice variety for breakfast, but the place is actually famous for its cakes so you should give them a try. Prices are over average, but it is the corner of the heart of „The Prenzlauerberg“. I loved the Bauern omelette, but I took it without the bacon. Coffee and teas are good.. Free WiFi, daily German newspaper, toilets are ok. Staff is friendly and they try to keep up with the best. Payment cash or any card. My biggest point of critic would be the decorations of the breakfasts, especially the Etage, they are done beautifully but mainly end up in the bin because guests do not eat all the fruit and vegetables. I wish they would reduce the amount of food decoration and reduce the waste. If you find my review useful, please press the like button below. Thank you.

RACIST waitresses. If you are an asian or Ausländer you will need to wait til all others are served. I came there with my fellow german friend on 09.06.2025; he came first and ordered coffee with no problem). I wanted to make an order but all the time the waitresses were avoiding me and even turning backs when they make an eye contact with me. Then i see how three tables in front of me were served even though these people(not Ausländer) came AFTER me. It was so rude i lost all the joy of the day so as my german friend who was in shock. When my friend finally managed to get a waitress to our table she looked and talked only with him while completely ignoring me. Even though i was the only one without any drink or food in front of me. And when my friend confronted her she said its stressful to work here and she had no time to come to us and didnt even apologized or looked at me. She lied and couldnt even look into my eyes. I felt like i am not a human, which is crazy, cause i grew up in Russia and the people there were never that bad to me. Girl, you live in Germany and work in Prenzlauer Berg in a nice cafe - why cant you just be nice to someone who has a different face than your regular customers? Other than that a nice cafe with wonderful cakes, one of the best ones i...

I came with the good mood but the waitress immediately approached me with rude comments. For her was a problem that I unknowingly took one of free tables, which was dirty at the time, and waitress aggressively told to wait in the line next time and wait when she finishes cleaning the table (actually there were no people in the line, so it’s not that I took someone’s place or whatever 😄). I told that I did not know I need to wait, and she answered me: “So you’re first time in the restaurant, yeah? Okay!!”, gave me unfriendly face and left. I was surprised with her unrelevant and rude demeanor, so I gave her surprised look back, and she approached me again with sudden aggressive question: “Do you have a problem?!” After this my surprise was doubled 😄 I continued to look, and she became even more irritated and aggressive than before 😄 So I just left.

But after the second thought I returned and explained the problem to another waitress, who was extremely nice and offered me tea on the house. Because of her and my favourite tea I decided to stay, but seriously, woman, if you can’t be at least polite, don’t work in...
