Il Castello Schloss Charlottenburg — Restaurant in Berlin

I know I've broken the number 1 rule as an Italian abroad: never eat at an "Italian" restaurant, but my opinions are objective: the food was, at best, passable. We had a margherita pizza, which was most likely a frozen pizza done on the spot, a bolognese spaghetti, which was ok, and, worst of all a carpaccio which turned out to be literally frozen. the middle piece was a block of ice. It truly felt like it was (badly) microwaved. At least it was kinda cheap. We paid 32€ for what I described and a mineral water bottle. Considering a bucket menu at KFC is 24.99 for three people... I know what I would choose. The staff was polite but didn't speak...

I don’t really mind the kitsch (fake brick walls, stereo playing Bella Notte and that one song from The Godfather), and the atmosphere is nice enough. However, the pizzas are quite disappointing and about on par with what I would get if I got something frozen from Lidl and just heated it up in my own oven. Bland, compact and rather thick crust without much taste or texture to it. Covered in a thick layer of the cheapest mozzarella available, everything under seasoned. Not terrible, but not very good either. At a place that claims to serve authentic Italian food, I expect way...

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich 0 Sterne geben. Es fing an, dass wir einen Aperol bestellt haben. Aperol steht ein Mal auf der Karte für 4,50€. Guter Preis oder? Warten Sie ab! Der Aperol bestand aus Wasser und Aperol, aber kein Sekt… das ist jetzt aber nicht weiter schlimm. Am Schluss stand auf der Rechnung „diverse Getränke: 7,90€“. Das sollte der Aperol sein. Ich ging also hin und fragte nach, da es so nirgends auf der Karte steht. Die Antwort: eigentlich wissen das alle, und für 4,50€ ist es nur ein Shot. Sehr unhöflich wurde mir übrigens auch noch geantwortet! Mein Freund hatte das Hähnchen, wozu ein Salat gehörte als Vorspeise, den sie gekonnt nicht gebracht haben, erst als wir etwas gesagt haben. Ich hatte den Ceasersalat und Lachsnudeln. Zum Salat: wie es üblich ist, ist der CEASERsalat mit einem Parmesandressing (genau so steht es auch in der Karte). Der Salat wird wie alle Salate auch dort mit einem Senf-Balsamico-Gemisch gebracht. Der Unterschied war nur das mehr Käse darauf gestreut wurde. Für den Preis echt eine Frechheit und gar nicht das was auf der Karte steht. Anders als der Aperol steht es aber wenigstens dort. Die Lachsnudeln und das Hähnchen waren okay. Ich hoffe Sie mögen TK-Kost, wenn Sie hier essen gehen. Im Großen und Ganzem haben wir Bauchschmerzen, viel zu viel Geld dafür ausgeben und sind sehr enttäuscht.
