Tonight we decided on Greek, only because it’s literally right next door to our hotel and we’re still hungover 😵😵😵, however... this place is truly a hidden 💎💎💎, the service and atmosphere was perfect and the politeness and gentlemen from our attractive waiter was just the beginning. We were immediately greeted with a free shot of ouzo before we were given our menus. And then the fresh baked bread came right after and no butter was needed as it was good on its own. We ordered the Fried Calamaris, Ntolmadakia(vine leaves stuffed with rice), Greek Lamb and Pork. It also came with large portions of side salads and freshly baked breads. And for dessert I ordered the hot figs with warm vanilla cream. The portions are very large and the prices are way too low in my opinion, and the taste was too amazing to describe on IG. The music and calmness on a Sunday Evening added more to our wonderful experience, and to top it off with plate of freshly chopped apples, peeled mandarins, with fresh yogurt, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon was a perfect way to end our evening with a pleasant surprise of another free shot of ouzo!!! The best experience I’ve ever had, thank you everyone at “Ja Niko Ja”🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪 #janikoja #bestgreekfood #greekfoodlovers #vacationinberlingermany #sundayeveningcalm #certifiedcuddler...

While on vacation from Canada, the hotel recommended the restaurant as a popular place to go. The location was easy to get to from the Sheraton Hotel, perhaps a 10 minute walk. We were greeted as we approached the front door with a smile and quickly guided to a lovely table on the patio. ( Note - this is a popular place, if you are going on a Friday or Saturday a reservation would be a good idea.) The menu is Large, not only Greece dishes, but also German, pizza, pastas, and much more. We had #90 with the garlic pita bread and it was DELICIOUS! The garlic sauce served with #90 is very strong, go easy. The server dropped off a starter of ouzo - on the house. :-) The service was excellent. Quick to take our order and then very relaxed. We have no room for dessert but the ones we saw looked yummy. Priced well, excellent food, and friendly service. It was a lovely time ( in fact, we went again 2 nights later and it was just as good as the...

Beautiful atmosphere- surrounded by threes on a big but quiet part of town. Horrible service. Waitress refused to speak to me and only wanted to speak to my partner as I don’t speak any German and he knows a bit. She said ‘English? No!’ We waited over an hour for our food. Waitress and other staff came around a few times but didn’t seem to care enough to realise our food wasn’t there… over an hour later, we lost patience and asked what happened. They actually didn’t register the order at all. We were til that sometimes it happens.

Another 15 minutes later they brought the food out. They gave us a glass of beer each but no proper apology. Bland food. For dishes that costs more than 30 euros each, they shouldn’t use frozen seafood. Maybe for half the price… or less….. Would not recommend it. Expensive and really not worth the time or money. Was surprised they charged full price after all the...

Disappointed Visit After Two Years I used to visit this restaurant regularly during my stay at the Hotel Intercontinental Berlin and always had a pleasant experience. However, my recent visit after two years was deeply disappointing. Despite the restaurant being over 60% empty, the time was around 06.15 PM a young and seemingly new male waiter rudely denied me a seat. His unprofessional behavior and dismissive attitude made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and unfortunately, the interaction came across as subtly discriminatory. It’s disheartening to see such a drop in service standards. I won’t be returning, and I hope the management takes steps to train their staff in professionalism and basic hospitality. The restaurant gave me a very negative overall vibe.

A real treat in Berlin to find this authentic family owned Greek restaurant with an immense and extensive menu of Greek, German (amazing pork and chicken schnitzels) and other tasty international offerings. We started with red peppers stuffed with feta and a lovely bottle of dry Greek wine recommended by the owner. We followed it with a lovely pasta and marina and a chicken schnitzel with tzatziki sauce. They graciously subbed in fresh green beans and broccoli for the French fries. The atmosphere was so lovely. Twinkle lights, Greek music, lots of laughter. It had a great vibe. A real treat, reasonable prices and warm hospitality. Conveniently located across from the 200 bus stop and Intercontinental Hotel a few blocks from the zoo.
