I’ve been to this place before, and while there were some issues, they were manageable. But last night was on a whole new level…)))
We made a reservation in advance and specifically asked for a table in the karaoke room. The person on the phone replied, “Of course, we’ll be expecting you. Looking forward to singing with you!”
We arrived on time and were shown to a table (in the regular dining area). When I asked the waitress about our karaoke booking, she handed me a price list (which hadn’t been mentioned before, either during the call or anywhere else). Turns out, karaoke costs €60-90 per hour—a pretty surprising detail to leave out. Fine, we decided to let it slide. But during the brief exchange, another group was seated at our table by what I assume was the owner himself. When the waitress asked him where to seat us, his response was, “Anywhere.”
Eventually, they did offer us karaoke since there were no free tables for 3-4 people. So we headed to the room, only to find it under renovation. :D They then told us to wait “somewhere” for 15-20 minutes while they cleaned up.
Finally, they offered us a table for eight (there were only three of us) to sit at while we waited. We sat down but left shortly after because, honestly, the mood was completely ruined.
The whole situation was absurd. I can’t tell whether to laugh or cry, but this is definitely not the kind of service that makes you want to come back…
We have no complaints about the waitstaff—they were doing their job. However, the management behaves in a completely unprofessional and...
Read moreI’m surprised that this place is reviewed so highly. 2 of us came there on Monday evening. Asked for a table for 2 and were seated at the table for 8 with 2 people already sitting there and eating right next to us. Never asked us if that is an acceptable table for us. I asked if it would be possible to move us at the table for 2 that I spotted at the end of the room. I got a “ look” , but I said that we are very close to the open door and it’s cold. Then we were allowed to move. Restaurant was full. Waiter was not able to keep up with his work and all of them are not professional. The girl brought our dish to the table in front of us. She was passing it around that table trying to figure out who ordered. I had to tell her it’s mine before she realized that. Keep in mind, my plate already traveled around so many people. Food wasn’t impressive. The dish with 5 different hummuses isn’t even close to be called hummus and absolutely disgusting. The pickles were good, but $16 for few pickles is way too much. We got Hincali (хинкали ). Those were ok, but nothing to write home about. I was really waiting for walnut cake that was so highly recommended in many reviews. What a disappointment. Dry and tasteless piece for almost $11. I would absolutely NOT...
Read moreDining at this Georgian restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the kind of warm hospitality that makes you feel like family. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with traditional Georgian touches that immediately transport you to Tbilisi.
But let’s talk about the food—because wow. Every dish was a masterclass in flavor and authenticity. The khachapuri was molten perfection, with just the right balance of gooey cheese and soft, golden crust. The khinkali were plump and juicy, bursting with rich, spiced broth in every bite. And the mtsvadi—grilled to smoky, tender excellence—was hands-down one of the best meats I’ve ever had.
The wine list was a delightful surprise, featuring rare and robust Georgian vintages that paired beautifully with our meal. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through each dish and suggesting spot-on pairings.
Whether you’re new to Georgian cuisine or a longtime lover of it, this restaurant is a must-visit. It’s not just a meal—it’s a cultural experience that leaves you full, happy, and already planning...
