After reading so many good reviews (from 2014 mainly) I was disappointed by the experience itself. I don't know what happened in the recent months but the food does not show much "love"anymore. !Also the much mentioned comment about not being able to pay with a card (not even EC cards) really bothers me as the restaurant is not cheap and is in the central Mitte area.! Sorry but anno 2015 you can't keep the cash only thing going unless you're money laundering!
Food ordered: snails as a starter and mussels + french fries as a main course.
starter was at the table within 5 minutes after ordering and proved to me it was not all too fresh. Unfortunately that was proven in taste and how the food looked. Main course was ok but I do expect more of a classic dish like mussels with fries, what can you possibly do wrong in this? I got funny thin fries that were utterly hard to eat and had clearly been in the oil too long. Just use good classic fries and all is good people! Mussels were ok but really nothing special. At least they were fresh.
Atmosphere: design is good and fits the menu. Too many tables were obviously tried to be fitted in though so I felt a bit too cosy with my neighbors.

It’s located in the Torstraße district of Mitte, which is a chic area with plenty of watering holes. Walking down this busy street from the U-Bahn I crossed through plenty of outlets that would look equally as sumptuous but for this trip, I am hunting for Bouillabaisse.
3 Minutes isn’t big, with very laid back decor and an open kitchen that feels homely. My table overlooks the street outside where you can enjoy classic French dishes in summer.
One of the things I love about Berlin is how affordable it is. This city is certainly not pretentious and it shows in the food. Classic, comfortable, delicious meals at reasonable prices. Certainly one of the best meals I...
Read moreWe were passing along Torstaße looking for some food and we thought we would try this place next to our absolute favourite restaurant in Berlin, Bandol sur Mer.
3 Minutes sur Merr is most definitely one of the most authentic French restaurants that I have seen in Berlin.
Extremely French inspired menu with the classics all over such as Steak Tartare, Moules, Steak and fries, Creme Brulee to name a few.
My Moules dish was perfectly cooked with a really generous portion of fries. My wife had the Roastbeef and loved it.
Service and ambience matched the food......very good indeed. Overall price for 2 was not too bad considering the area.
Highly recommended and worth a visit. Love it and we...
