It's a new place, so this might be part of it, though the ambiance is incredibly sterile. It feels like a restaurant that came out of a focus group, rather than out of love of food.
The food itself is fine. Not amazing, not terrible, just fine.
The food is served in incredibly large bowls, and there are loads of gratuitous things put on top of their items. For example, our sushi rolls came topped with a small bunch of argula wrapped with another vegetable and the lemonade came with a largeslice of orange, two straws, and a spoonful of pomegrante seeds.
It feel like they are trying to be very chic and cool and hip by having these bowls and presentation styles, but it feels a bit like they're just trying too hard.
The maki was priced well - you do get a lot of food for the price.
