Kreuzberger Weltlaterne — Restaurant in Berlin

Debated on whether or not to write a review, as I love this place so much and don't want it to get too crowded! Food = 10 Service = 11! Our go-to for Greek food in Berlin. Extensive menu of Greek classics, plus a few twists on the weekly menu. Order a bunch of Mezze and skip (most of) the mains: Tzatziki, spicy feta, zucchini chips, the homemade fries!, fava, gyros, lamb chops, greek sausage, fried anchovies!, the odd sounding but delicious shrimp in tomato sauce with feta, bifteki, moussaka (all three versions are great)... A big bottle of Ouzu and the meal is perfect. The most accommodating, friendly, genuinely caring staff we have yet to...

This place is always the best! We often come here and bring our friends to show how great it can be. It's a family restaurant with very good food and also it's not overpriced (compared to similar quality restaurants), staff is very hospitable and welcoming, atmosphere also is great, tables outdoors are excellent. It's a place where you want to come back again and again. Must try from the menu -deep fried beans and zucchini chips!

To take into consideration, they kindly ask people to come inside after late hours as some crazy neighbor often call Polizei for the noise (22-23h). Also, no raki served, but ouzo is perfect and 3 times...

A great Greek restaurant that doesn't look like a Greek restaurant. It looks more like an old German pub. We ended up here after struggling to find anywhere to eat and walking around for a while (this was the first Friday we could eat out without tests, so pretty busy everywhere).

We came across this place just as a couple were leaving so we managed to get a table. Delicious food (the Knoblauch Brot was very good), great service and such good Greek wine.
