long story short, after lots of prior complications, we get seated and ordered. don’t get comfortable just yet though, because after 10min we are informed that we should now get up from the table, as there is a reservation. but how come? the website clearly states no reservations under no exceptions. cant they wait for their table? no, the reservation was made through the boss. we get very politely asked to leave the table, so we stand with our drink in the hand. boss’ guests get sitted. after a while a whole array of amazing women working there sort the situation out. but then the star of the event shows up. a boss with a flock of his children, who run around the restaurant, bother waitresses in their job, and at many occasions, even though age around 4 and half meter tall, hang out around the espresso machine and shout something about some cocoa to a barista trying to do his work. work safety regulations who? boss with his other guests are seated in another room, so basically half of the cafe mugrabi that day was a joyfull private party. i aplaud people working there, as it seems the biggest obsticle is a man running the show. don’t expect a food review, we ate in 20 min and left...

I ended up coming here and worked on my laptop the entire day under the umbrella while waiting for a friend who was (hours) late. I enjoyed the scent of mediterranean spices and not coffee lingering in the air. It was very pleasant and the staff were attentive enough that I could get their attention, despite other tables clearly taking priority. I even asked during the lunch rush if I should move, because I was taking up a seating space, they never made me feel unwelcome or pressured to order more things to stay longer (prior to ordering my food near close, I had only ordered one tea which came in a tall tempered glass, which was nice).

The food was excellent, I had a cucumber, cabbage and cauliflower salad, the portion was to share but it was very large even then. Then I had hummus sabich, which was incredibly filling, there must have been 150g of hummus alone on the plate, and with a green spicy sauce that made sure I didn't get tired of that hummus taste when I was almost m feeling totally full.

Cheers to a relaxed wait staff and...

Step into the flavorful world of Mugrabi, where the art of hummus reaches new heights. From the moment you walk through the door, the aroma of freshly ground spices and warm pita bread envelops you, promising an unforgettable culinary journey.

hummus isn't just a dip; it's an experience. Each bite of their creamy, velvety hummus transports your taste buds to the bustling streets of the Middle East. Whether you prefer it traditional or with a modern twist, their menu offers a tantalizing array of options to suit every palate.

But what truly sets Mugrabi apart is the warmth of its hospitality. From the friendly greeting at the door to the knowledgeable staff eager to guide you through the menu, dining here feels like being welcomed into a friend's home.

This time, I had the opportunity to taste the food, which is excellent. Hummus was very tasty, exquisite flavours. Each plate area produced different feelings and aromas. Although the service is friendly, be prepared to wait. Read my first experience below. Note to the owner; please invest in more personal. They were running and we have our coffees after 20min and food after 45min. Food is a little overpriced but is very tasty My first review: This review is based only in the service. Unfortunately we couldn't eat. In the radio we heard about this place and the owner saying something like "we want everyone feel at home" Short story, no one came to serve us, after 20 min of waiting they told us we need to wait for at least 30 to 45min. And when we mention that we do not mind to wait, the told us that it could take more than an hour. The place was not full. By the time we left, the whole top floor was empty. I didn't feel welcome.
