I was at lalibela a few times now and every time it's pretty much the same. Interesting food, uncommon spices. The standout thing here is the out of the ordinary way to eat it all. You eat with your hands and it works well with the supplied wrappy carb.

The issue I have with this place is that the portion sizes are very small. Compared to what you pay you expect way more or somehow get more satiated.

My first experience was with a young (unexperienced) group of 4 and we were all a bit confused on the ordering and we didn't receive any help from the waiter. We thought we order two mixed combination in one but it resulted in what was an almost empty plate for supposedly four people but personally it was hardly for two people (or one if it was for me).
