I came here with my boyfriend a few minutes after the restaurant opened and got the last table outside. This is after a previous visit to the restaurant when there were no seats available. It really does get busy very quickly!
The service was very quick and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the homemade lemonade which was reasonably priced but very gingery for lemonade so we weren’t too impressed.
Both of us felt like it wasn’t the best ramen we’ve had. I personally was disappointed with my order (miso and black sesame veggie tan tan). It had one small pak choi leaf, a form of soy protein, half of a boiled egg and a lot of noodles. Bonus points for how much noodles there were but I didn’t like the taste of the broth (personally) and there was very little going on in the ramen other than that. The soy protein was textureless and as I didn’t like the broth I couldn’t really enjoy it or the noodles.
My boyfriend liked his ramen slightly more than me, but felt that the broth was very fatty - of course, ramen broth is fatty - but his broth had such a thick layer of fat that it was difficult to eat a lot of it.
The service was very good and perhaps other items on the menu tasted better, but i was disappointed with the taste of my broth and felt like it was very simple. Considering how busy it is and how difficult it can be to get a seat due to the small seating area, I wouldn’t recommend this place as much as other places I’ve tried...
Read moreYesterday me and my girlfriend went there, for me it was the first time going there but not for her.
We ordered first the gyoza which were good, but going into the main dish’s she ordered the tantan ramen and I got the shoyu ramen.
Starting with the tantan, my girlfriend couldn’t eat even more than a half of it, she mentioned it’s not her first time eating this dish and was completely outer and basically NOT EATABLE.
We wanted to be honest, and we told the waiter about the issue and the restaurants cook came to talk with us.
We told her, the dish tastes completely different and it’s not the same as it was, the broth was too dense and tasted as if it was on a burned Smokey oven.
She told us, “we didn’t get any complaints about the tantan dish, would you mind if I have try?”
We agreed, right after she shakes her head and says “I don’t see anything wrong, it doesn’t taste bad.”
Now I think for a place who respects its self and its customers must have their customers at the front! The customers are your business.
You see someone eating at your restaurant and she doesn’t even finish half of the dish, you got to be respectful to the person who came to eat at your place,
and at the end you took it personally and you gracefully blamed her that she doesn’t like it.
We didn’t have much to say after that, we left and paid a shameful price with a funny 10% discount (44€~40€)

Read moreVery crowded place, hot, humid and loud inside (16-30 Saturday). Service ok. Food - huge disappointment. We ordered 3 different ramen and no one was an actual ramen. Even in Berlin (and I don’t try to compare with other cities or countries) all ramen I’ve eaten were better. You might think it’s because this restaurant doesn’t use MSG but no. I can cook perfect chicken broth by myself way more tasty and flavourful than here. Here… well, at best it was flavourless broth with almost overcooked noodles and several pieces of meat. Oh yes, also half an egg (disgusting taste). No veggies, and you cannot even order them in addition (only mushroom). But it’s not the main reason for my bad review, the reason is that this soup is not ramen. Broth is poorly tasted, chicken variant is more like water where chicken was not boiled, only took a bath. To be completely honest- this meal was not unbeatable, no. It’s normal option if you worked hard all day long and want something fast and very simple. This place probably would good for that if the price was 4-5 euro per dish. But with these prices… we paid 50 for 3 “ramen” and one tee. Absurd. Strongly...
