Please do not waste your time coming here. Let me explain why…
Before moving to their newer & larger location on Gabriel-Max-Straße, No Hablo Español had a great name for themselves.
I visited No Hablo Espanol on 4 different occasions. Why? Because their tofu / bean tacos / chicken tacos / chips and guacamole (YUM) were hard to resist (very delicious) I love Mexican food (real mexican, not tex-mex) Every experience was a little different and so I wanted to give them a chance as they were still “new” to the sit-in restaurant scene. every single time I wanted to get my taco fix in, i went back because it is conveniently close and as I said, The tofu tacos were great.
Since visiting my first time in in July 2021, the food has gone down in quality and the overall dining experience has been unpleasant. Portion sizes have gotten smaller (less taco filling and less nacho chips) food preparation has gotten sloppy and careless staff has been unpleasant, unfriendly, and rude
MY MOST RECENT EXPERIENCE
I understand.... it is only 30 cents. But the fact they treat customers this way is BEYOND ME. Additionally, if this restaurant is going to be cash only……HAVE THE CASH!!!!!!!
My most recent dining experience at No Hablo Español has left me with bitter feeling and I will not be returning after this experience, nor would i recommend this restaurant to anyone else, ever again.
Advance for the Management: Train your staff on how to treat customers Staff seems very unhappy. Hire people who care and are motivated to serve in the restaurant industry, or learn why your current staff is unhappy. Train your kitchen staff, because the food consistency is not constant depending on...
Read moreGuys, look, I used to be a big fan. I've been coming since the pre-pandemic days. But this is getting out of hand. The last 2 of 3 times I was there the server was rude or seemed to be in a bad mood (and I brought friends, so it was embarrasing!). Next, it shouldn't take 25 minutes to make a burrito when there are only 3 tables seated in the place. Finally, your roll game - guys, a burrito needs to be round and closed at at least 1 side. Not completely open like a giant quesadilla that unfurls the minute you remove the wrapping paper. If you can't get the roll right, chances are you aren't actually a fan of burritos... because it's so tough to eat them if you can't, well, hold them. I say that as a proud southern Californian (and yes, I know that's not your style, but still...). Maybe your staff needs some more support on these issues from management? A bit of extra traijing on the finer details? Or maybe they need an additional staff member to ease the burden? Small issues like this add up in the life of a business, guys, especially for us regulars! I'll be back, but not so much more often if things go further downhill.... I hope you actually take this as good faith feedback from someone who is rooting...
Read moreVery disappointing experience. I can understand problems in the kitchen and with beepers but the staff just didn't care.
We ordered 4 meals and had two beepers. When the first beeper rang, we picked up the food and took it to the table. A lady came after us a couple of minutes later and took the food back because it was apparently for someone else. I had to go inside and wait around to get the beeper back.
The next beeper rang and only one meal was handed out (the 3rd one ordered). My friend had to go and ask for a beeper for the 4th meal. Meanwhile the first two were still missing. It took so long that the first person was practically finished before the other food was ready and we were hungry and frustrated.
As we returned the dishes, there was no apology, no thank you and goodbye, nothing. That just added insult to injury and I'll never...
