I actually didn’t expect much because I ate at countless good vietnamese restaurants in Berlin. I was so positively surprised about this one! There were not so many people at crunch time just 4 other tables that were occupied by couples and a family. It had a typical hidden Kiez feeling in the middle of Charlottenburg. The service was really nice and hardworking. I saw only two young waiters outside and they made sure to tend to everybody as mich as possible and frequently asked if everything is alright.
We ordered two dishes on cast iron platters. One crispy duck with grilled veggies and one grilled beef with fries and onions. I also ordered some classic shrimp summer rolls and sushi as a starter. The grilled beef with fries didn’t really get me (reminded my of peruvian lomo saltado) but the crispy duck with grilled veggies was incredible! Also the starters were amazing and rich in flavor. The classic fried honey bananas were superb too. The menu had the regular vietnamese dishes, nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but therefore really...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this Vietnamese restaurant, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a wonderful meal.
Now, onto the food – it was simply outstanding. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients, transporting me to the streets of Vietnam with every bite. Whether it was the fragrant pho, the flavorful banh mi, or the crispy spring rolls, every dish was a true culinary masterpiece.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. If you're craving delicious Vietnamese cuisine served with a side of warm hospitality, look no further. This place exceeded all my expectations, and I can't wait to come back for another...
Read moreI live nearby and have given this place 3 tries. Constantly way below the level of a random Vietnamese in Berlin. The quality of the food is very basic, soups were tasteless and watery, sushi made with 95% of rice and very thin slices of fish. He asked to pack some for take away last time, the order was mixed up and when we got it home we got pretty disappointed. Price same or higher than Ishin sushi (which is lovely). If you want a nice Vietnamese, walk to Kantstraße, if you want nice food nearby - Selig is serving amazing...
