They served spoiled chicken, that is rotten meat. It was no doubt about it, distinct foul taste. I got an upset stomach the day after. So did my friend.
When I politely pointed out this the waitress reacted very defensively and maintained that this was not the case They always had fresh meat, she maintained and argued that I simply did not like it. The situation was very unpleasant.
We decided to leave after just a few minutes into the meal. The staff at the kitchen had a hostile attitude towards by then. When I suggested that I should not pay for this, the waitress became extremely rude and started yelling at me - in front of other guests. Terrible place and horrendous service.
PS: The answer below clearly illustrates their aggressive attitude, accusing me of verbal and physical abuse. I remained calm throughout the ordeal. The waitress however kept gabbling my arm. I had to ask her to let go, before leaving.
The dish with the spoiled chicken was the udon noodles. My friend, who also got an upset stomach, had the pho of the day. By the way our dishes were served less than 5 minutes after we placed the order, which suggest that they had been waiting on the counter. Not...
Read more3.5 stars. Atmosphere was great, zero comments. 5/5
Service was okay, super friendly and fast, loved the staff. Their system automatically adds a 10% tip when you attempt to pay, which is always harmful to my experience. 4.5/5 for service, one docked for this tipping.
Food was pretty underwhelming for what I hear. I got the S1 special, red curry with crispy duck. The dish had four main components, red curry, duck, vegetables, and rice, as normal for a curry dish, which im glad for.
The duck was great, a little dry, but otherwise perfect. 4.5/5 The sauce was a little to thin for my personal preferences, so i did not account that into the review, but was under salted and lacked a depth of flavor. More umami, a bit more salt, reduction, and spices would go a long way. 3/5 The veggies were par cooked leaving them with little to no flavor and completely unseasoned. Peppers had the inner white membrane which is extremely bitter. 1/5 Rice was good rice. rice/5

Read moreNot the first time I ate there, usually the food quality is quite good. But last time I ordered a Pho with "beef from wok" for the fist time and was very disappointed, as the meat was practically unchewable, around 50% was just tendons, and what wasn't - had a weird taste, as if they just threw leftovers on the wok and quickly fried them. Also, previous Phos that I had here had waaay more meat. I really hope it was a one-time bad experience, or maybe the chef was ill and it was a less-caring substitute, as it is always sad to see good restaurants rolling down the slope trying to save money. Would definitely advise the regular Pho with beef cooked in broth or the raw option, but not the wok one. The chicken skewers are still very nice. At last, PHO Staff, if you are reading this - please don't be afraid to add more chili, especially if you're putting it separately from...
