So, this place seems to be getting a lot of buzz, which, I guess, is fine—if it’s actually earned. I tried your pizza for the first time today.

I wasn't a fan of your pizza. And I’ll tell you why—not to be harsh, but so you can improve and keep going strong. I had it delivered, mainly because it took all of 7 minutes, which I’ll admit was impressive. The unboxing experience was good. My first thought was - larger than expected. Then came the first disappointment when I cut into it—soggy bottom. The crust was thin, but too soggy. I tried to pick up a slice, and it was flopping around like, well
let's just say it wasn't holding up.

The flavor? Meh. The tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. The three Basil leaves didn't save the day either. But hey, I was hungry and had The Godfather on Netflix, so I ate it. The pizza's way too soft—there’s no crunch, just a spongy, gooey dough with zero crispiness. Honestly, it looked kind of lifeless too.

Anyway, hope this...

In a city where Neapolitan pizza mostly looks like it barely survived a zombie apocalypse, Roots is a design masterpiece. These guys actually care about their ingredients—and their presentation. You can tell from the way they lovingly drizzle a bit of oil on the crust, giving it that extra crunch and flavor. No sad, soggy dough disasters here.

Now, let’s talk about the burrata "starter" pizza. Honestly, it shouldn’t even be called a starter—it’s a full-blown showstopper. One of the best pizzas I’ve had, hands down. If I could write poetry, I’d write a sonnet about it.

The service was surprisingly friendly—especially by Berlin standards (if you know, you know). The whole place has a cool, laid-back vibe, with electronic music setting the mood and a buzzing neighborhood adding to the charm.

Bottom line: If you love pizza and want both taste and aesthetics,...

For sure best neapolitan Pizza in town, I’ve tried plenty before but this one is definitely the best. On top of it, the team is amazing, super cool, friendly and the service is also quick. I’ve tried their RosĂ©, the white wine and the Italian sparkling wine. All really delicious, the rosĂ© is kind of sweet, so if you like wine like that- I’d recommend. The white wine has a slight citrus note which I loved a lot as well. Their pizza, I am especially amazed by the vegan options. Despite of no vegan cheese being added, I didn’t miss it at all because the rest of the flavors were fantastic. My friend tried the meat pizza. Because it was so good, I had to try it as well (even though I am normally a vegetarian). It comes with a great twist: white base and an exotic tasting chutney. I’m still dreaming of it 😄 just for that, I think I’d make an...

Pretty impressed with this new place. Service seemed sometimes a bit disorganized but very kind nonetheless, we could even order some drinks not on the menu. Pizzas were really good, the dough is not crazy chewy nor too thin and I was happy to have really garnished pizzas for once. Several vegetarian options, I adored the spinach/ginger and soy combination, although I think it's better to share and could be too much on its own. Starter was also very generous and delicious. I was not a huge fan of the dessert which lacked the limoncello taste in my opinion. Overall great experience even if the terrace is right on the Kottbusser Damm. I'll come again to check the vibe inside and try what I haven't yet on the menu.
