Taverna „To Koutouki“ — Restaurant in Berlin

We have visited this Taverna for several times already, even had family celebrations here, and therefore, we will continue to visit this awesome restaurant! Why though? For the mere fact that this Taverna is simply super! We are Globetrotters and tried many Greek foods already. But then for us, this Taverna is the best Greek restaurant in Germany! I loved this restaurant, because it is so tasty and generous. But during my last visit i felt different. They had fantastic bread before - now it was just normal. Salad included before main - not anymore. The grill for two was a bit smaller than before. I‘m not complaining that it‘s bad, it was just too good before. It‘s still good.

The answers of the owner to some reviews here are actually making me quite uncomfortable. I hope they realize that it‘s very inappropriate and unprofessional. The reviews were not even bad or rude, but they answered like a stupid teenager, mocking...

We've tried two of their meat mix platters and were happy. Lots of vegetarian options as well. The lamb Rumpsteak was definitely our favourite (tender, tasty) and the souvlaki our least favorite as we found it a bit dry (we also tasted giro, lamb côtelettes and bifteki). The free ouzo and small yogourt with honey at the end was a nice surprise. The service was great and we felt warmly welcomed.
