Life throws you unexpected moments and encounters.
So Silver Future, a place I never heard of, until that night. So now this lovely cosy place stores pleasant sweet memories for me.
A place where I thought I was certain that I did not like a certain person, apparently I was wrong.... Thanks to this place having some good drinks, this dear person got a bit tipsy and adorable :)) making it so damn hard not to fall. How can I stay neutral or stay in the friend-zone when this tipsy cute person was passionately sharing stories, experiences and thoughts with me.
All I could do was simply listen and watch while I adored the presence in front of me.
Oh wait, this is suppose to be a REVIEW right, got out of line haha .But if you are curious read along!
Let me give you some context: So I like this certain someone... But I am afraid that this person does not like me back. So am a bit scared to open up about it because, clearly all the data I gathered (from this person) while having some lovely cocktails at Silver Future indicates that this person is looking or trying dating with other people., so I m not an optıon for sure. Oh and what is worse, this person decided to be some sort of a godmother to me... Yes, I felt 'Friendzoned'.
Defeat. Heartbroken. More tequila...
Read moreI thought I was going to genuinely love this place, because it seemed like the perfect intimate queer bar we had been looking for with my friends, but then the service was so bad it left a bad taste in my mouth.
We got to this bar and it was kind of full so we went to the first table we saw that had enough seats. Then a bartender came over and in an angry tone said that we shouldn't have sat there yet because they weren't done clearing it from previous costumers. Then they added rudely that "if you are going to order anything, you have to come to the bar" like as if we were expecting table service and were idiots. We said ofcourse and thank you and when we ordered, the same level of service continued with the other bartender, who laughed with their coworkers and other costumers, but with us, seemed like we had offended them, and when I gave a 3€ tip, they said "thank you" but only with a forced tone and no smile.
This experience made us feel so unwelcome. There were also 3 people in our short time there that came and begged for money from us, and wouldn't leave us alone easily. The interior is amazing, and the vibe is good with the other costumers, but the staff must hate tourists A LOT based on...
Read moreI know this bar since more than a decade and always counted on it as not just only queer friendly but also welcome to all intersections and bipoc friendly. Today evening around 21:30 we went there and the bar bartender were so rude to me ; first ignored me for other people who were after me in the line but then screamed at me when I asked if they still serve warm drinks. I tried to repeat but the bartender aggressively approached me. I couldn’t understand Whats the reason of that much hate behaviour and aggression as they were seems behaving nicer to other people (apparently nicer to white folks). At the end the bartender throw my change money aggressively !
I hope the response person for the safety of the place have a look on these reviews and consider some fundamental changes!
We expect much more safety and inclusivity from a queer...
