Very mixed feelings⊠We were âwelcomedâ by a girl who was definitely not sober and tried to manage the whole bar which was apparently very difficult to her. As all the seats were busy she invited us to wait in the impromptu âbar tableâ(tiny shelf of a side buffet) right next to permanently opening toilet door, with no space to hang a jacket and it was super hot inside. After a table became vacant, we went to sit down there (after half an hour of waiting by the toilet door). Result? The lady kicked us out from the table because there were âother guestsâ (apparently friends). I really wish we could have a chance to appreciate the cocktails that frankly looked just amazing (looking from the WC door at the people sitting there). My personal remark: all this business space could have been optimized to make all those guests sit down and convert them into your loyal customers, instead of randomly throwing very few cumbersome tables occupying the room so irrationally and having problems with accomodating people. A reservation system would be okay as well if you like to keep this âexclusivityâ of your place with very few people actually able to sit down (drinking while standing is impossible in that bar). Moral: very beautiful idea and gastronomic creativity turned into very disappointing reality. You can do much better! 3 stars only for obviously seeing a professional approach to...

You won't find any sickly sweet neon monstrosities here, but seemingly unassuming cocktails that reveal each note like a fine fragrance.
I loved their inspired reimagining of classic cocktails, such as the old fashioned, gimlet, and martini. As the mixologist Rose explained, they sought to respect the essence of each, but channel their own creativity via the ingredients. For example, their martini remained crisp, clean, and refreshingly cold, but the usual juniper gin notes of the classic were more floral and herbal from Wax On's use of pisco and tarragon.
After trying the entire menu, our absolute favourites were their original Go Apes, and their old fashioned: the latter's early hint of strawberry sweetness, giving way to scotch before that faded into rich peanut butter...it was sublime!
Lastly, service here was warm and welcoming. Rose was the consummate host. While efficiently crafting each patron's order, she remained friendly and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful evening, it was a delight to get to know...
