The food was nice but the woman on the phone was extremely rude. I ordered vegetarian sushi(inside-out). Since I am trying to develop my German, I was talking in German. She was speaking quite fast,it was hard for me to understand. Anyway, the conversation came to the cover of the sushi. She said that I can chose between sesame or egg cover. I asked what does she mean, she repeated the same sentence. Then I thought they make a Neuköllnish vegetarian sushi covered with egg. So I ordered that to try out. After 90 min, finally the order came but guess what! The vegetarian sushi was covered with caviare. I thought they sent wrong sushi so I called them again and asked. Then she immediately told me that she mentioned me about the fish egg and it was my fault that I understood wrong. I kindly reminded her what she told me (she said just egg) and the differences between two materials. Then she told me that she can not understand me, many times. Also, She was telling me that everyone knows that the sushi cover is "Fish egg"... After all this tiring argument, I finally gave the phone to my native German speaker friend to explain her what does it mean. Then she changed her argument and there was an undirect blame on my German!
All my purpose was just to ask them was there any mistake and what happened. Then I felt in this stupid situation. I really don't know what she was afraid of! I know we are all in stressful situation, and the pressure is really big.. I don't know maybe she was thinking that I want my money back or something... Even, the sushi was around 4€. Even if I ask for refund, it was not worth to put us in this situation and make me feel weak because of my language barrier.... Just one...

I ordered dinner and something extra for lunch the next day on April 14, 2024. Sushi Yana was the only thing I ate that day and a few hours after I was violently ill for the rest of the night- I was unable to even keep down water until 11am the next morning.
I had ordered a bowl for my lunch the next day too, that I had to throw out because I had no idea what ingredients had been tainted.
I reported the food poisoning to Lieferando (the delivery company I ordered through), and asked for a refund, which, given how sick I was, I think that’s fair. Lieferando tried to contact the restaurant with no response. After a WEEK of trying to get in touch, the restaurant finally responded that they would not refund my money for the order. There wasn’t even an apology for making me sick!
I spent quite a bit of money on this order and had to waste half because it gave me food poisoning. I think it is only fair to be refunded, considering how extremely sick I was.
I will never EVER eat anything from here again and you should consider finding a different restaurant too. Clearly they do not care about...

We are staying in a hotel so I said “when you are outside just send me a WhatsApp or call me, and I also put the +34 (number of my country) and obviously my number. We waited like 1 hour and the restaurant was literally at 5 min by foot from where we were. I made a call and they told me the delivery guy was in his way. I waited like 20 min more and called again, then the girl told me the delivery guy was there and I said send him back if you can... The guy arrives and tell me that he had call me before and I check it out and I din’t see any messages or calls so I don’t know. Then he didn’t return my 10 extra cents back and even ask about them... The food was very nice though, but I don’t think I’m gonna order...
