STÜH33 Café — Restaurant in Bochum

Great new coffee and concept store, located not far from Bochum City Centre.

The space, while currently not being able to host people due to covid-19, is large and stylish. It serves great coffee roasted by specialty coffee roastery Benson from Cologne and offers several options to buy beans and also to order for drink.

The prices are extremely fair, especially the delicious vegan oat cookie for 1€, and the service is friendly and professional.

Hopefully I can update this soon once they are able to serve more options and when being able to hang out there and also try many...

The coffee and the food are most of the time great. It is a great place to work also. Nevertheless, it is quite expensive and the new service leaves much to be desired. They take too long to take your order, forget to bring your food and sometimes even bring the wrong thing (a friend asked for a vegan meal and got it one hour later with egg in it!), and take long to clean the tables. First time I got there (woke up pretty late) asked for the breakfast menu and ordered a coffe. So when waitress came to take my order she said it’s past 2pm and they don’t do breakfast anymore. I don’t get why she couldn’t inform me straight away not when I already got the coffee. The place is nice, especially sitting on a patio. I came back again to try one of the breakfast options and it was… just average. Nothing I would go back for. But...
