The place looks quite cute and cozy, that’s pretty much the most positive part about this review.
I ordered a hot chocolate and a bruschetta. The hot chocolate was okay (tasted more like milk than chocolate, but drinkable). The bruschetta was boring, the only good thing about it was the bread and that it was soaked the right amount with olive oil. The tomatoes were bland and the cheese was not good, next time use mozzarella, that might add a better taste to it instead of this bleh cheese you guys put on the bruschetta.
My friend had the hot chocolate too and chicken bacon scrambled eggs or whatever that was, very tasteless and really boring.
The staff aside from one girl are very annoyed looking, like they’re not enjoying their job.
But even tho the meh outweighs the good, I’m still giving this place a 3 stars, due to the fact it is a cozy place, this one lady was really sweet and smiley and from what I noticed some people seemed to have a good meal, maybe we ordered the wrong things this time, we might come back to try...
Read more5-6 months ago I’d give this place 5 Stars but now I’m a bit disappointed. I discovered this place 2-3 years ago thanks to the amazing waffles they made with all kind of toppings, sauces, fruits and ice cream flavors with a decent price. The waffles were based on 5Steps topping choice as you’d notice in the picture of the old menu in which I thought was an interesting, new concept and different from any waffle place I ate in before. I always boasted about this place’s dessert to my friends who aren’t from Bonn and when they finally came for a visit I brought them here but they changed the menu for waffles. Now they’re smaller in portion with not much of a choice almost the same menu with different prices(that also have gone up)I was really disappointed. My friends still liked them but it wasn’t the same for me.
P.s: you could notice the difference of the Waffles from the pictures posted in the reviews from 7...
Read moreWe had serpme Turkish breakfast with my friend. Overall, it was good. We liked simit (Turkish bagel), sigara/kalem boregi and bazlama toast with sucuk. And you get plenty of cheese and jam options. But the quality of the products could be better. I think the sausages were so bad. The bread was so dry. And also Menemen (scrambled eggs with pepper, tomatoes and optionally onions) was not good because 1) we were not asked whether we are okay with onions in Menemen. Even in Türkiye, this is a highly debated topic, this should have been asked. 2) onions and peppers were not fully cooked, which is not okay in Menemen. And finally in the videos, we saw avocado slices served in serpme breakfast, but there was not any; instead we were given guacamole, probably bought from the market. Still, I would take my friends there for this experience, hopefully with an...
